While the charging station is not charging an electric vehicle, the handle is positioned in a socket of the charging station. The charging station includes a locking mechanism for locking the handle in the socket while performing testing. The electric vehicle includes a receiver into which the handle is inserted for charging the battery of the electric vehicle. The handle includes structures that cooperate with a locking mechanism of the vehicle to lock the handle in the receiver while the battery the vehicle is charged. The cable and handle may be cooled by a liquid medium.

    Abstract: A tool for installing and removing flexible flat cable with respect to a protective sleeve has a groove for receiving the cable. The cable slides into and is formed into an arc by the groove and is supported evenly on both sides of the cable. With the full width of the cable in the groove, the tool slides down the length of the cable into the sleeve for the cable to be removed. As the tool slides into the sleeve, there is a smooth transition of the cable from flat to curved, and the cable and sleeve separate. The tool is slid through the sleeve as far as necessary for the needed action. After alternations to the sleeve or cable are complete, the tool is used to replace the cable back into the sleeve by reversing these steps.

The electrical connector plugged into a connector of a printed circuit-board of, for instance, a notebook computer has substantially an inverted U-shaped handle with its pair of leg elements being engaged with socket elements formed in the sides of the connector. The leg elements are bent at about the mid points so as to reduce the height of the handle, thus allowing the handle to be fit within narrow interior space of the notebook computer.

    Abstract: An attachment for a tool used to attach and remove load break elbows and protective caps from bushings disposed on a transformer is provided. The tool attachment includes an elbow engaging member that is positionable around a load break elbow or cap fixed to a bushing. The engagement member is fixedly secured to a horizontal bar that includes a number of aligned openings extending through the bar. These openings are selectively alignable with a pair of openings disposed on a vertical bar to pivotally attach the vertical and horizontal bars to one another.
