Abstract: A pad for a computer mouse includes a substrate of cushion sponge of a predetermined shape and size, a layer of nylon netting glued to one side of the substrate, and a layer of paper adhered to the glue and netting. Adhesive is placed on the outer surface of the paper, and a piece of pre-printed synthetic sheet material is adhered to the adhesive. A coating of polymer may be placed over the synthetic material, if desired.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a combination of an A and B adhesive reacting together through a scrim material in a laminated combination, and wherein the B adhesive has great adherence characteristics to a vinyl nitrile foam, and the A adhesive has great adherence characteristics to itself. Thus a laminate of the A adhesive/scrim/B adhesive to each side of a slit in a vinyl nitrile foam tubular insulation, with appropriate release liners covering the outside A adhesive, has been found to be particularly effective. When the release liners are removed and the A adhesives pressed together, a very strong bond is created closing the slit in the vinyl nitrile foam insulation holding the tubular vinyl nitrile foam in place on the tubular member to be insulated. Normally, this is utilized in an air conditioning application with the piping or tubes running from the compressor to the air conditioning unit, and wherein vinyl nitrile foam insulation has proven to be the best insulating material for this application.

Abstract: A laminated liner comprising a non-slip pad and a sheet covering. The non-slip pad has opposite first and second faces and a plurality of open cells extending through the pad from the first face to the second face. The pad is formed of a frictionalizing material to grip the surface for resisting movement in the plane of the surface when the second face contacts the surface. The sheet covering also has opposite first and second faces. The sheet covering second face is permanently bonded to the non-slip pad first face.
Abstract: An elongate composite structural member and method of making the same which is particularly useful for forming the handle of hand-held striking and prying tools or implements. The elongate structure member comprises a foamed in place molded resin composition core and outer skin layer which is reinforced with intermediate layer of structurally strong, unidirectional oriented fibers. The expanded foam resin, intermediate fiber layer and the expanded foam resin outer skin are bound together by the cured foamed resin composition formed during the molding process to form a strong, integral composite structure.
Abstract: A formed laminate (20) is made by a method and apparatus (38) by compressing a flexible sheet (28) and a quick reacting foamable liquid mixture (50) that has substantially completed expansion but not yet substantially cured so as to form the flexible sheet and provide a collapsed foam layer (30) bonded to the sheet. The flexible sheet (28) is preferably porous cloth, vinyl or leather. A film (56) which is preferably a nonadherent plastic such as polyethylene is preferably positioned in a vertically spaced relationship with the flexible sheet (28) either above or below the flexible sheet with the foamable liquid mixture received therebetween for the expansion prior to the compression that provides the formed laminate. The formed laminate (20) has particular utility as an article of apparel (22).
