Abstract: Methods and hydrogels for preventing or reducing cellular adhesion and protein adsorption to a tissue (e.g. cardiac tissue) are disclosed. The hydrogels generally include at least three component polymers, a first polymer including an aminooxy group, a second polymer including a reactive oxo group, that are cross-linked by oxime bonds and a third polymer including a catechol group, that causes better retention on the cardiac tissue. The hydrogels are suitable for binding to and coating a tissue or cell. The hydrogels operate to reduce cellular adhesions and protein adsorption to the tissue or cell.

Abstract: A tailings-reclaimed green stone paper processing method, which treats the tailings to meet the pH 7 pH requirement of the paper standard, grinds the treated tailings after drying, modifies the powdered tailings, implements a modified granulation process with the use of a modification aid, and then implements plastic granule stirring, heating mixing, filament spinning, cutting, papermaking and surface treatment processes to form an environmentally friendly stone fiber paper product, achieving the effects of tailings reuse, pollution-free, moisture-proof, anti-mite and low cost.

Abstract: A thermoplastic composite article comprising a porous core layer and an open cell skin disposed on a first surface of the core layer is described. The composite article comprises a noise reduction coefficient of at least 0.5 as tested by ASTM C423-17 and a flame spread index of less than 25 and a smoke development index of less than 150 as tested by ASTM E84 dated 2009.

Therefore, occurrence of a moiré phenomenon is prevented, and the contact points between the sensor lines are distributed so as not to be concentrated in any one region, such that generation of a foreign material sensation may be minimized. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a decrease in visibility due to the generation of the foreign material sensation.

Firstly, an in-mold injection molding mold is provided, wherein a function film, a 3D curved-surface plastic material, and an anti-rainbow stripe combination layer are placed in the in-mold injection molding mold. The in-mold injection molding mold is used to mold the function film, the plastic material and the combination layer into a low-stress line workpiece integrally formed by in-mold forming. The low-stress line workpiece includes the function film, the plastic layer and the combination layer, wherein the plastic layer is located between the function film and the combination layer. The present invention provides a low-stress line workpiece with high surface hardness and a method for forming the same to reduce lamination fabrication processes and improve lamination yield.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an insulation blanket for insulating a structure includes a first facer layer and a second facer layer. A plurality of intermeshed non-woven glass fibers are disposed between the first and second facer layers and a fumed silica insulating powder is also disposed between the first and second facer layers. The fumed silica insulating powder has an average particle size of between about 2 and 20 nanometers. The insulation blanket includes at least one exposed edge having a cauterized face that forms a barrier on the exposed edge to encase the fumed silica insulating powder within the interior of the insulation blanket, which minimizes degradation of the insulating value due to loss or shedding of the fumed silica insulating powder through the exposed edge. The cauterized edge has a depth of cauterized material of between about 0.05 mm and 3 mm.

The present invention provides a porous ultra-thin polymer film with a film thickness of 10 nm-1000 nm. In addition, the present invention provides a method for producing a porous ultra-thin polymer film, comprising the steps of: dissolving two types of mutually-immiscible polymers in a first solvent in an arbitrary proportion to obtain a solution; applying the solution onto a substrate and then removing the first solvent from the solution applied onto the substrate to obtain a phase-separated ultra-thin polymer film that has been phase-separated into a sea-island structure; and immersing the ultra-thin polymer film in a second solvent which is a good solvent for the polymer of the island parts but a poor solvent for a polymer other than the island parts to remove the island parts, thereby obtaining a porous ultra-thin polymer film.
