Abstract: A cogged-belt drive device for drawing along mobile flats of flat cards, in which the cogged belts are equipped, in their development facing the flat guides, with scraping or cleaning elements that eliminate the accumulation of foreign bodies from the guides on which the resting elements of the card flats are drawn along.

Abstract: A device for automatically polishing a mother blank of sheet copper has a starting sheet auto-stripping line including a delivery device for carrying in mother blanks of sheet copper, a stripping device for stripping starting sheets from the mother blanks, a removal device for carrying out mother blanks after the starting sheets are stripped off and a device for polishing the surfaces of a mother blank from which starting sheets have been stripped off at a forward position in the direction in which the mother blanks are transferred.
Abstract: The invention relates to a polishing stack with at least one fixed and one moveable polishing roll for polishing a plastic sheet leaving a wide extrusion die. A device is provided that preloads the frames and the bearings and acts on a roll gap adjusting device which includes a pinion gear arrangement and drive for finely adjusting the roll gap between the fixed and moveable rolls. The polishing stack in preferred form includes a center fixed roll and top and bottom adjustable rolls.
