  • Patent number: 11701752
Abstract: In an automatic wet sanding apparatus including a disc and a cushion pad, a disc center hole is formed at a central portion of the disc and a pad center hole is formed at a central portion of the cushion pad. Water having been supplied to an introduction space inside a skirt is stirred as an eccentric head rotates eccentrically and thereby pushed out toward a painted surface via the disc center hole and the pad center hole with enhanced pressure. Thus, sanding dust resulting from automatic wet sanding can be washed away toward an outer circumferential side by the water that is pushed out toward the outer circumferential side, so that the likelihood of clogging due to sanding dust can be reduced and high sanding efficiency can be maintained.

Abstract: An improved structure of water mill has a body provided with a handle part, a body part, a working head base and a pressing control switch. The handle part is provided with an intake passage, an exhaust passage, and a water inlet reversing passage. By triggering the pressing control switch, a high-pressure gas is guided into the intake passage and the body to drive the water grinder. A water pump gas outlet is provided with a double sleeve tube connected to a sealed water storage tank. The discharged high-pressure gas is guided into the sealed water storage tank through the outer tube of the double sleeve tube, so that the stored water is pressed back to the double sleeve tube and is simultaneously guided into the water inlet reversing passage. Finally, the water is guided out to the working head base, with simultaneous grinding and water cooling.

  • Patent number: 5597348
Abstract: A portable abrading or polishing tool including a tool body carrying an air motor which drives an abrading or polishing head relative to the tool body, with the tool including an aspirator energized by pressurized air for inducing a flow of water to a work surface, and with air being delivered from a source to the motor and the aspirator separately, so that the air passing through the aspirator and to the work surface does not first pass through the motor. A check valve prevents reverse flow of water from the aspirator to the motor when the supply of pressurized air is shut off, to thus prevent damage to the motor by the water. Means are provided for holding the check valve in closed condition even when air is supplied to the motor, to enable lubrication of the tool by air containing entrained lubricant without delivery of the lubricant to the aspirator or work surface.

  • Patent number: 5591070
Abstract: A pneumatic tool (10) is described for diverting exhaust air from an air motor (18) between a rearward opening (22), a forward opening (24), or both, without requiring any disassembly. An exhaust diverting valve selector (26) allows adjustment of the direction of flow as determined by an exhaust diverting valve (60) from the exterior of tool (10). A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tool (10) with an exhaust diverting valve (60) is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5525097
Abstract: Disclosed is an air motor having an engine pack (with a rotor provided with front and rear retainers, a stator, and vanes) which can be assembled and replaced even by an unskilled person. An air supply joint is engaged with guide projections formed on the inner peripheral surface of a housing, with its forward end portion held in contact with the rear retainer; the forward end portion being fastened by a nut member which is threadedly engaged with the housing. On the rear face of the forward end portion are formed a plurality of first projections produced of a rigid synthetic resin, and on the front face of the nut member corresponding to the first projection are formed a plurality of second projections, so that a firm relation of engagement is established by an elastic force of restoration of the first projection; that is, the nut member will not accidentally become loose owing to the locking effect of the first and second projections.
