  • Patent number: 11186328
Abstract: A turntable lubrication device for lubricating sliding mating surfaces of a base plate and an upper plate, the device comprising; —a casing, and—a lubricating grease contained and sealed within the casing, which lubrication device is intended to be manually positioned on the mating surface of the base plate and ruptured under pressure of the upper plate when the upper plate is positioned on top of the base plate, thereby allowing the grease to be distributed between the mating surfaces. The lubrication device is elongated and plastically formable, thus allowing the device to be shaped and curved so that it substantially follows a circumferential shape of the base plate such that the grease is evenly distributed over the sliding mating surfaces.

Abstract: A device and a method for filling a paste-like substance into a skin, and having a filling tube through which the paste-like substance is pushed into the skin, and a casing brake which is arranged in the area of the ejection end of the filling tube and which presses the skin in the direction of the filling tube. In order to prevent the formation of blisters below the skin, a second casing brake is provided, which, when seen in the direction of ejection, is arranged ahead of the first casing brake and which presses the skin in the direction of the filling tube so that air can be sucked off from below the skin between the first and the second casing brake.

Abstract: A device and a method for the manufacture of sausages from paste mass, in particular sausage meat, with a coextrusion head for coextruding the paste mass and a sausage casing, wherein the coextrusion head comprises a filling tube for the ejection of the paste mass as well as an extrusion die assigned to the filling tube with an extrusion gap for ejecting the casing material. In order to produce strong sausage casings, the filling tube protrudes by a distance X beyond the annular gap so that the casing material is extruded through the annular gap onto the filling tube and solidifies along the filling tube.

  • Patent number: 7390245
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a sleeve that has a greater length and is used for food, especially for sausages. The inventive sleeve consists of a plurality of individual sleeve sections made of sausage casings which contain collagens. According to the inventive method, a mandrel (3) is used. A first sleeve section (1) is pushed on said mandrel and a successive second sleeve section (2) is also pushed on said mandrel in such a way that the end regions of the two sleeve sections overlap on the mandrel and that an overlapping region (10) of sleeve sections is formed, whereby said end regions face each other. Heat and pressure are temporarily and simultaneously exerted on the overlapping region of the two sleeve sections in such a way that the sleeve sections in the overlapping region are at least partially welded together.
