Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein involve systems and methods for handling an increased capacity of coins. In one implementation, an increased capacity coin hopper assembly comprises a bucket assembly, a coin hopper, and a funnel assembly. The bucket assembly has an opening through which one or more coins are receivable, and the coin hopper has a payout disc rotatable by at least one motor. The funnel assembly is disposed between the bucket assembly and the coin hopper and directs the one or more coins from the bucket assembly to the payout disc with a controlled flow.
Abstract: The present invention provides a coin handling machine 11 which can properly and effectively use the capacities of the coin storing units 25. Coins to be transported in the deposit transport unit 22 are recognized by a recognition unit 23, sorted by sorting by a plurality of sorting units 24 using electric driving units according to recognition results, and stored in coin storing units 25 of a plurality of stackers 26. Each stacker 26 is provided with two coin storing units 25 with different capacities. To coins with a large diameter or thickness or coins of a sort the handling amount of which is large, a coin storing unit 25 with a large capacity is assigned to prevent capacity shortage. To coins with a small diameter or thickness or coins of a sort the handling amount of which is small, a coin storing unit 25 with a small capacity is assigned to prevent the capacity from becoming excessive. The capacities of the coin storing units 25 can be properly and effectively used.
Abstract: A coin depositing and dispensing machine prevents a foreign object mixed together with coins put in a coin receiving port from causing a malfunction, facilitates distinguishing coins of a depositing and transporting system from coins of a dispensing and transporting system, and facilitates removal of a coin jam. Coins received from a coin receiving port are fed separately by a feeding unit to a depositing and transporting unit. A rotary disc rotated at a position tilted at a predetermined angle is used for the feeding unit. By using the rotary disc, only coins are fed to the depositing and transporting unit, and foreign objects are eliminated. The depositing and transporting unit and a dispensing and transporting unit are arranged opposite to each other in a machine body, and the depositing and transporting unit is tilted together with the rotary disc. Coins in each unit are thereby easily distinguished from each other.

Abstract: A dispensing system including a coin hopper for dispensing coins, a printer which prints a value on a ticket, a memory unit for storing a winning amount from a gaming machine, a judgment unit which outputs a dispensing amount to the coin hopper or printer based on the winning amount stored in the memory unit and a threshold value, a controlling unit which selectively asserts a command to either the coin hopper or the printer, a character information converting unit which converts information from a dispensing command into character information for printing on the printer, and a coin hopper driver for operating the coin hopper based on the dispensing amount from the judgment unit.
Abstract: A dispensing device utilises a bulk dispensing receptacle (2) used in combination with a dispensing hopper (1) to dispense coins, tokens or other items to an outlet tray (4) of a change or vending machine. The bulk dispensing apparatus being adapted to be filled to a predetermined number of coins, tokens or items when the change or vending machine is not being used by a user. Additionally an extension bin (3) for gravity feed of coins, tokens and items into the hoppers may be used having inclined walls and a baffle device to prevent "bridging" of coins, tokens and items. The dispensing device is quick in dispensing coins or tokens by filling the bulk dispensing receptacle (2) whilst information is being inputted by a user.
