Lever Operated Patents (Class 453/45)
  • Patent number: 8006847
Abstract: A casino chip sorting device may comprise a transport disc, a drive, an ejector, a cam, and a blade. The drive may be operably coupled to the transport disc, for rotating the transport disc, and the transport disc may have multiple recesses for collecting individual chips. The ejector may be extendable into a recess from beneath the transport disc to move a disc that is in the recess and the cam may be selectively rotatable by the drive to push the ejector into the recess. The blade may have an upper surface positioned to receive a casino chip moved by the ejector. Additionally, a processor associated with the casino chip sorting device may be programmed to recognize a jam.

  • Patent number: 6821198
Abstract: A device guiding disc to direct discs to a desired location includes a guiding passageway for guiding and aligning the individual discs at an exit position. A pushing device can contact the discs at the exit position and move the disc out of the guiding passageway. A roller member can be positioned adjacent the bottom of the exit position to support and translate the disc as it is pushed by the pushing device. A support device, such as a tapered roller member, can be positioned above the exit position to receive an upper edge of the disc and to operatively position the disc for subsequent contact with the pushing device wherein the disc is positioned at an inclined angle to a longitudinal axis of the guiding passageway.

  • Patent number: 6466776
Abstract: A receiver and a receiving method, both for use in a broadcasting system in which analog broadcast signals and digital broadcast signals are transmitted in adjacent frequency bands. The receiver has an analog processing circuit for receiving and processing analog broadcast-wave signals to extract audio signals; a digital signal processing circuit for receiving and processing digital broadcast-wave signals to extract audio signals; a changeover circuit for selecting either the audio signals supplied from the analog processing circuit or the audio signals supplied from the digital signal processing circuit; a control circuit for controlling the application of an operating power-supply voltage to the digital processing circuit; and detecting means for detecting that a digital broadcast station has been selected. The control circuit applies the operating power-supply voltage to the digital processing circuit only when the detecting means detects that a digital broadcast station has been selected.
