  • Patent number: 11987940
Abstract: The invention relates to a construction machine (1) with a machine frame (2), a driver cab (6) with a right and a left door-window unit (12) when viewed in a traveling direction (A) of the construction machine (1), wherein the door-window units (12) are adjustable between a closed and an open position, and with a drive engine (13) and front and rear traveling devices (4, 5). Essentially, the door-window units (12) can be opened in an opposite manner, in particular depending on the side of the machine frame (2) on which the front and rear traveling devices (4, 5) respectively sit flush with the machine frame (2). The invention is particularly relevant for ground compaction machines, in particular rubber-tired rollers. The invention further relates to a method for operating a construction machine (1) and a method for manufacturing a construction machine (1).

  • Patent number: 10307029
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner that includes a suction motor and a filter assembly. The filter assembly surrounds at least part of the suction motor and has a frame to which a filter medium is attached. The filter medium is spaced from a wall of the frame such that an arcuate passageway is defined between the filter medium and the frame. A part of the air expelled by the suction motor enters a first end of the passageway and moves around the passageway in a clockwise direction. A further part of the air expelled by the suction motor enters a second end of the passageway and moves around the passageway in a counter-clockwise direction. Air within the passageway then passes through the filter medium.

  • Patent number: 9333972
Abstract: A method (600) for exiting a sailing mode of a vehicle (100) is described. The vehicle (100) comprises a clutch unit (103) which is disengaged in order to decouple a driving shaft (102) of the vehicle (100) from a driven shaft (105) of the vehicle (100), when the vehicle (100) is operated in the sailing mode. The method (600) comprises predicting (601) that a trigger for an exit of the sailing mode will occur, and initiating (602) the preparation of the clutch unit (103) for engagement, subject to predicting that a trigger for the exit of the sailing mode will occur. Furthermore, the method (600) comprises detecting (603) a trigger for the exit of the sailing mode, and adapting (604) a shaft speed (230) of the driving shaft (102), subject to detecting a trigger for the exit of the sailing mode. In addition, the method (600) comprises engaging (605) the clutch unit (103), subject to preparing the clutch unit (103) for engagement and subject to adapting the shaft speed (130), in order to exit the sailing mode.
