Abstract: The invention relates to a partition wall which comprises a wall element and a stand device, wherein the wall element comprises a multiplicity of tubular bodies, each having a cavity, which are vertically aligned in the room. The wall element herein comprises spacer webs, wherein one of the spacer webs is in each case disposed between neighbouring tubular bodies of the wall element in such a manner that the tubular bodies are aligned so as to be mutually parallel and mutually spaced apart.

Abstract: The present application relates to an arrangement for reducing thermal energy loss through a sill assembly of the type used with a door or window. The sill assembly includes at least one sill member. The at least one sill member has a hollow region therein. The sill assembly further includes a baffle disposed within the at least one sill member. The baffle spans a length of the at least one sill member and divides the at least one sill member into a plurality of chambers thereby limiting interaction of warmer air and cooler air within the at least one sill member. The baffle reduces heat transfer through the hollow region via convection.
Abstract: A portable window insert for the distribution of utilities through a window opening. A main panel has a pass-through opening for the utility lines, a handhold opening and a slider panel slidably engaged with the main panel. A sealing member surrounds the pass-through opening. A sealing panel slidably mounts to the rear of the main panel and can be selectively positioned to cover or expose the pass-through opening for use. When the slider panel is in an extended position the handhold opening is covered, the pass-through opening is exposed for use and the edges and sides of the main panel and slider panel abut the sills and sides of the window opening to secure the insert in the window. When the slider panel is in a retracted position the pass-through opening is covered and the handhold opening exposed for use.
Abstract: A window with multiple elements which are suitable for installation in a building exterior wall as part of designing and/or retrofitting building façades is disclosed. The building structure comprises one or more movable members movably attached to a frame member where the frame member is secured in a wall opening. The building structure may further comprise a sash member attached to the one or more movable members. The connection of these members may be such that an enclosure is created when the building structure is in an extended or open position.
Abstract: A rain shield comprising a first face, and a second face disposed on an opposite side thereof, wherein a plurality of first pores are defined on said first face and a plurality of second pores are defined on said second face. Each first pore is corresponding to a second pore and are connected by a slope passage. With the angled passage provided in the rain shield, it can be used for ventilation and avoid the permeation of rain.
Abstract: A window rain shield ventilator for installation in an open window, such ventilator having slideably extending first and second ventilator shield members attached, respectively, to first and second flange members, each flange member having at least one rotatable engagement member to aid in retaining the ventilator in the window's sash channels.
Abstract: A trickle vent such as might be used in association with commercial windows is formed from PVC tubing in two convoluted paths. One or more expansion chambers are provided at turns or directional changes within the tubing which reduce or eliminate noise transmission through the vent. Where a plurality of expansion chambers are used, each chamber may be of different length to dampen a different portion of the acoustic spectrum. In a preferred embodiment, the expansion chambers are filled with an acoustic-type foam, and the ends are not completely sealed. The tubing preferably bridges two extrusions that form a supporting housing for the vent, and by using two separate extrusions bridged by the tubing, both thermal and acoustic isolation are maintained.
Abstract: A room air conditioner for mounting in a window opening having a vertically sliding lower sash. The enclosure for the unit has front and rear portions separated by the vertical plane of the window opening, the compressor and condenser heat exchanger being mounted in the rear portion, and the evaporator heat exchanger being mounted in the front portion. A motor that is connected to an axial flow fan at one end and a coaxial centrifugal blower wheel at the other end is also located in the rear portion. The axial flow fan is operatively associated with the condenser heat exchanger and the centrifugal blower wheel is operatively associated with the evaporator heat exchanger. The forward enclosure portion and the evaporator heat exchanger extend above the bottom of the bottom rail of the lower sash, and the rear housing portion and the condenser heat exchanger extend above the bottom rail of the lower sash and substantially below the level of the window sill.
Abstract: An apparatus arranged for mounting interiorly of a window between a lowermost window sash and a window sill provided with spaced triangular side walls an a telescoping forward housing receiving a shield plate therewithin. Both the shield plate and housing include a ceiling flange arranged at an obtuse included angle relative to the plate and housing surface respectively. Further, a filtration screen and a motorized fan assembly is positionable overlying an upper peripheral edge of the organization to enhance ventilation into an associated interior room.
