  • Patent number: 10900688
Abstract: The indoor unit includes a plurality of outlet openings. In airflow rotation of the indoor unit, a full blowout mode and a partial blowout mode are executed. In the full blowout mode, all the outlet openings blow conditioned air. In the partial blowout mode, the flow of the blowing air of part of the outlet openings are blocked by the air current blocking mechanism, and thus the blowing wind speeds of the remaining outlet openings increases. As a result, an air temperature difference among parts of the indoor space decreases, and the comfort of the indoor space is improved.

A peripheral flange extends outwardly from each side of the body, in parallel relationship with the bottom and is used for attachment to the building ceiling. A second embodiment is configured and functions in the same manner as above but covers over the top of an existing air vent and includes a lip on the underside of the flange. The third embodiment is for a ceiling air duct diverter system consisting of a box like housing with side walls, an open top and open sides to divert air flow and having the capability of affixing the open top near a ceiling air vent.

Abstract: An adjustable boot hanger mounting bracket assembly comprising a boot hanger frame portion and a support member portion; the ductwork components, which may include a prefabricated can-boot/mud ring assembly; a pair of boot hanger arms; and a register grille. The boot hanger mounting bracket assembly is formed of a sturdy yet bendable material so that it can be configured and adjusted on-site. Once configured, the assembly is secured to the building structure by a securing a pair of boot hanger arms to the ceiling joists, wall studs, or other support structure. In this way, the boot hanger mounting bracket, through a direct attachment to the ceiling joist or wall stud, provides a positive inexpensive simple and error free way to mount the duct components.
