Abstract: A portable variable volume paint spray enclosure or booth includes a frame assembled from longitudinal members and detachable clamps. The clamps secure together adjacent ends of the longitudinal members. The paint spray enclosure further includes a flexible cover disposed upon the frame such that a relatively air tight enclosure having a predetermined configuration is formed. The assembled frame and flexible cover extend from grade level to a predetermined elevation to encase an object to be painted. The paint spray enclosure also includes an air flow input apparatus for allowing air flow into the enclosure, and an air extraction apparatus/air scrubber for removing air from the enclosure, such that air mixed with vaporized paint inside the enclosure is removed from the enclosure before the paint vapor and air combine to form an explosive mixture, thereby preventing an explosion and/or fire from occurring inside the enclosure, and preventing operators from being exposed to harmful fumes.

Abstract: A hinge assembly includes a pair of lower mounting brackets, at least two upper hinge leaves, and an axle pivotally coupling the upper hinge leaves to the lower mounting brackets. Each lower mounting bracket has a vertically oval-shaped axle hole. Each upper hinge leaf includes a U-shaped mounting member and a hook shaped clamping plate coupled to the U-shaped mounting member through threaded tension bolts. The upper hinge leaf also has a pair of axle holes. The axle extends through the elongated axle holes of the lower mounting bracket vertical flange and through the axle holes of the U-shaped member.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a multi-purpose panel member which may be utilized as any surface or support beam in a structure. In a preferred embodiment, the panel may be extruded monolithically from aluminum. Also disclosed are systems for assembling structures from the panels utilizing a plurality of other components, which are also preferably extruded from aluminum.

Abstract: A pressure equalization device for installation on or at an entry of an attic of a home or other building is described. The pressure equalization device can be an access panel of an attic access hatch. The access panel is a solid, generally flat panel of material such as wood or plastic. The access panel includes an aperture that passes therethrough. The aperture is covered with an air-permeable cover made from a material such as cloth or plastic mesh. The mesh is constructed to allow air to pass through the aperture between the attic and interior of the building for purposes of equalizing pressure between them. Pores of the mesh are sized so that insects, rodents, and other animals and dust and debris cannot pass through and into the interior of the building.

Abstract: An information handling system comprising a chassis supporting a central processor, a graphics processor, a memory, and a power source and a dual opposite combined blower and impeller system having a powered blower fan for rotating a plurality of blades within a dual opposite combined blower and impeller system housing where the dual opposite combined blower and impeller system housing includes first surface and a second surface oppositely disposed on either side of a rotational plane of the powered blower fan, a first side wall and a second side wall oppositely disposed to the first side wall. The dual opposite combined blower and impeller system housing includes a first blower outlet aperture in the rotational plane of the blower fan moving air in a first direction on a blower side and a second, curvilinear impeller aperture in the rotational plane of the blower fan moving air in a spread airflow in a second direction generally opposite to the first direction.

Abstract: The technology encompassed by the current disclosure generally relates to membrane composites that can be used in acoustic venting assemblies. In one embodiment of the technology disclosed herein, a venting media composite has a microporous membrane layer and a coating on the microporous membrane layer to form a composite. The basis weight of the composite is at least about 0.5% higher than a basis weight of the microporous membrane layer without the coating. In some embodiments the composite has a decreased insertion loss than its membrane-only counterpart.

Abstract: A ventilation duct for a motor vehicle includes an air inlet, a duct body, and a duct opening generally in a shape of a quadrilateral having first, second, third, and fourth sides. The duct opening further includes a generally L-shaped extension extending away from the first and second sides of the duct body, and a first seal attached to the L-shaped extension. The ventilation duct further includes an outlet generally in the shape of the quadrilateral of the duct opening. The outlet further includes an outlet assembly, a generally L-shaped seal extension, and a second seal affixed to the L-shaped seal extension. The outlet is installed in the duct body in a direction perpendicular to the airflow to maintain the seal around the assembly point.

Abstract: Embodiments of a heliport incorporate commercial and residential spaces with a plurality of helipads at multiple levels or floors, within a multi-story building. In various embodiments, the helipads cantilever out from the sides of the building or may simply span between oppositely faced sides of adjacent building structures. In some embodiments, the helipads extend outwardly from aircraft hangers and from commercial and residential spaces that extend into the building from the rear of the helipad. Rooftops associated with embodiments of the heliport include control tower facilities and additional helipads.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for enhanced control, monitoring and recording of incoming chemical and power use, and emissions of electronic device manufacturing systems are provided. In some embodiments, integrated sub-fab system systems may monitor the energy usage of the sub-fab equipment. The tool can enter many different depths of energy savings modes such as idle (shallow energy savings where production equipment can recover to normal production with no quality or throughput impact in seconds), sleep (deeper energy savings where production equipment can recover in minutes), or hibernate (where production equipment may require hours to recover not to have impact on quality, or throughput) for the system. In some embodiments, the system may monitor and display all gas emissions in a sub-fab as well as the Semi S23 method reporting of CO2 equivalent emission. The system may monitor effluent process gases and energy use from the process tool and sub-fab equipment.

The vent opening is in fluid communication with a slot defined by the top surface of a roof deck and communicating through the roof deck. An end cap has an end cap shingle supporting surface and is located adjacent to an end of the elongated vent. The vent and the end cap adjacent to the vent are supported in an equivalent spaced-apart relation to the top surface of the roof deck. The elongated vent shingle supporting surface, the end cap shingle supporting surface and the top surface of the roof deck provide a substantially continuous support to a shingle overlapping any two of those elements.

Abstract: Provided is a side storage unit, including a cleaning chamber to receive a plurality of substrates, the cleaning chamber having a gas supplier to supply therethrough cleaning gases for removing fumes from the substrate, and a plurality of discharge openings to discharge therethrough a mixture of the fumes and the cleaning gases; a plurality of substrate holders arranged on an inner sidewall of the cleaning chamber and supporting the substrates in the cleaning chamber, each of the substrate holders having at least one gas injector connected to the gas supplier to supply the cleaning gases onto a surface of the substrate; and a discharge assembly connected to the discharge openings to discharge the mixture of the fumes and the cleaning gases.

A left side and a right side of the panel each include one or a plurality of ventilation holes, and a sound insulation board for sound insulation is set near each ventilation hole along an inner side of the panel, so that at least certain sound from the inner of the electronic device needs to bypass the board to pass through the ventilation holes; and the ventilation hole on the left side and the right side of the panel are opened in a staggered position, so that when the panel is placed side by side with another panel, air exhausted from a ventilation hole at an adjacent side of the panel does not form strong face-to-face blowing interference with air exhausted from a ventilation hole at an adjacent side of another panel.

Abstract: An electronic equipment enclosure includes a frame structure at least partially enclosed by a plurality of panels defining a compartment in which one or more electronic components are mounted and an exhaust air duct that is adapted to segregate hot air being exhausted from the compartment from cool air entering the compartment, thereby improving thermal management of the enclosure. The exhaust duct includes a lower duct section extending upward from the top panel of the compartment and an upper duct section telescoping upward from an upper end of the lower duct section. Each duct section includes four panels connected together by hinged corner fittings such that the section is collapsible. The upper duct section includes an outwardly flared portion.

Abstract: A method for installation of an adhesive vent over an aperture in a surface is described, the adhesive vent has at least one substantially straight serrated edge and an air permeable venting region, an adhesive region having adhesive disposed thereon surrounding the air permeable venting region. The method comprises providing an edge guide adjacent to the aperture, the edge guide adapted to inhibit motion in at least one direction on the surface, positioning the serrated edge on the surface such that the edge of the adhesive vent engages with the edge guide and pressing the adhesive vent onto the surface such that the air permeable region of the adhesive vent covers the aperture and the adhesive vent is fixed to the surface by the adhesive.

Abstract: A wall ventilation screen to be used in exterior walls of buildings or vehicles for protecting against rain water and other elements while simultaneously enabling air flow. The screen includes a plurality of air passages that enable air flow from one side of the screen to the other but preferably without linear communication between both sides through the air passages. The air passages present an upwardly traveling trajectory from an exterior or exposed space to a protected space, preferably with lateral changes of direction as well. Therefore rain water that comes directly from precipitation or splashing from an adjacent surface cannot reach a protected space. The geometry of the air passages provides protection against other environmental or man made elements.

Abstract: A dishwasher having a water vapor vent structure is provided. The water vapor vent structure may include an outer cover having one or more water vapor vents, and an inner cover detachably mounted to the outer cover and having condensation channels for condensing water vapor. As water vapor is collected and maintained in the condensation channels for a period of time, condensation efficiency may be enhanced, and air quality in a room in which the dishwasher may be maintained at an acceptable level.

Abstract: The present invention provides an airflow outlet of air-conditioning device, which comprises a main body having one end forming an entrance opening and an opposite end forming a plurality of outward-projecting curved ridges. At least one of the curved ridges has a side wall forming at least one through hole to allow air to pass through the through hole. The present invention allows airflows generated by an air-conditioning device to be conducted to the through hole to be discharged therefrom. Since the through hole is formed in a side wall, airflows do not blow directly down as that occurring in the conventional devices and instead blowing sideways so as to eliminate any potential risk of causing discomfort of persons located under the airflow outlet.
