Abstract: A method for controlling a plurality of environmental factors that trigger a negative emotional state is provided. The method may include analyzing a plurality of user data when a user experiences a plurality of various environmental factors. The method may also include determining an emotional state experienced by the user when each of the plurality of various environmental factors is present based on the plurality of user data. The method may include receiving a plurality of calendar information associated with a user account. The method may also include identifying an upcoming event based on the plurality of calendar information. The method may include identifying an environmental factor within the plurality of various environmental factors is present at the upcoming event. The method may also include, in response to determining the environmental factor causes the user to experience a negative emotional state, executing an accommodation method based on the environmental factor.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system that makes use of a mobile telephone (22) to which a user authorized to open a lock (28) has access. According to the invention, a remote management site (10) includes a database (12) of authorized users identified by the mobile telephone number thereof, as well as a data credential generator (14). The credentials are crypto acoustic credentials (CAC) in the form of single-use audio signals and are generated from digital data credentials (DDC) that are normally employed by the lock when the latter is used with a badge or a card. The system includes means (16, 18, 20) for securely transmitting the acoustic credentials to the user's telephone. The lock (22) picks up the acoustic credentials reproduced by the telephone pre-positioned near the lock and extracts the digital data credentials from the picked-up crypto acoustic credentials and, subsequently, the lock applies the thus-extracted digital data credentials to the analysis, authentication and control means of the lock.
Abstract: A device (10) for reducing vibration effects on position measurement includes a receiver (12) for providing position signals (13); and a vibration control circuit (18) operative to control position information generation based on the position signals (13), to prevent position information generation during mechanical vibration of the device (10). A method for reducing vibration effects on position measurement includes receiving position signals through a receiver; and controlling position information generation based on the position signals to prevent the position information generation during mechanical vibration of the device.

Abstract: A hands-free switching device is adapted for use with a mobile telephone in a car having an audio output unit and a loudspeaker unit. The hands-free switching device includes a switch unit, a switch driver, and a driver control unit. The switch unit is capable of being switched to one of an activated position, where the switch unit electrically interconnects the mobile telephone and the loudspeaker unit to enable speech signals from the mobile telephone to be reproduced at the loudspeaker unit, and a deactivated position, where the switch unit electrically interconnects the audio output unit and the loudspeaker unit to enable audio signals from the audio output unit to be reproduced at the loudspeaker unit. The switch driver is associated operably with the switch unit and is capable of being enabled so as to control the switch unit to operate from the deactivated position to the activated position.
