The apparatus ranks the first potential relay UE relative to a second potential relay UE. The ranking of the first potential relay UE is based on a combination of the first link quality and the second link quality. The apparatus selects one of the first potential relay UE and the second potential relay UE for a relay connection based on the ranking of the first potential relay UE relative to the second potential relay UE.

In another aspect, the cell may send system time information indicative of its updated system time when switching from asynchronous operation to synchronous operation. In yet another aspect, the cell may decrease its transmit power prior to switching synchronization mode, switch synchronization mode when its transmit power reaches a predetermined power level, and thereafter increase its transmit power.

    Abstract: An information processing device is provided, which includes: a first wireless unit capable of wirelessly transmitting and receiving data; a second wireless unit capable of wirelessly transmitting and receiving data; a data processing unit which executes processing of data input from at least one of the first wireless unit and the second wireless unit; and a control unit that, when any one of the first wireless unit and the second wireless unit is connected with an electronic equipment, connection is requested from an electronic equipment which is not connected in accordance with the execution of the data processing, and the data processing is not executed by the electronic equipment which is connected, releases the connection with the electronic equipment which is connected and executes connection of any one of the first wireless unit and the second wireless unit with the electronic equipment which has requested the connection.

In another embodiment, certain preferred mobile stations are assigned either interference-free channels or channels paired with weak interference mobile stations.
