  • Patent number: 11978033
Abstract: A system includes a secondary computing device not owned by a user, a hardware processor, a memory and instructions that cause the processor to generate a transient wallet identifier (ID) for a transient mobile wallet, the transient mobile wallet being of limited duration, and provide a configuration user interface the user, presenting configuration information for the transient mobile wallet. The processor also identifies a usage specification for the transient mobile wallet defining allowed uses for the transient mobile wallet. The processor also activates the transient mobile wallet on the secondary computing device, receives a payment transaction approval request, compares the payment transaction data to the usage specification, determines that the payment transaction data is non-conforming, and transmits a rejection message for the first payment transaction.

  • Patent number: 11902158
Abstract: This disclosure relates to transmitting data packets from a source to a destination within a communications network. A data packet is received from the source located in a local sub-network of the network. The data packet includes a first network layer protocol header having a source address containing the local sub-network address of the source, a destination address of the destination, a first field indicating a length of the source address and a second field indicating a length of the destination address. The first network layer protocol header is transformed by modifying the source address and the first field indicating the length of the source address, such that the modifying includes appending to the local sub-network address a prefix of the sub-network to make the source address an address of a higher-level network. The data packet is then forwarded toward the destination in the higher-level network.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a test device and a test method for a multimedia data card and a mobile-phone multimedia data card. The test device comprises a printed circuit board (PCB), and the PCB is provided with a connecting slot module that can be split and used for connecting modules under test. The test device for a multimedia data card comprises a miniature connector, which is plugged into the connecting slot module. According to the present invention, the PCB can be tested simply by connecting the PCB tester to the miniature USB connector, and the components can be easily plugged in without need of such operations as windowing and positioning. Therefore, the test efficiency is improved, and because the cost for developing test clamps to connect these test points is saved, the test cost and the manufacturing cost get reduced.

  • Patent number: 8874098
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are disclosed for a subscriber of services on a network to display a custom operator name or alpha tag on the subscriber mobile communications device. The custom alpha tag (or operator name) is selected or defined by the subscriber via an interface on a communications device, and a custom operator name request is submitted to a provisioning logic on the network. The provisioning logic communicates with business rule logic on the network, the business rule logic being configured to retrieve and/or update a first account associated with the subscriber with the custom operator name. A billing logic within a billing subsystem may be invoked to debit a second account associated with the subscriber. A programming logic on the network then updates one or more mobile devices with the custom alpha tag. The several logic units may be part of an Over-the-air (OTA) platform on the network.
