Patent number: 3961443Abstract: A cover for nursery and flower pots is constructed from a thin flexible plastic material having a plurality of holes therein through which water and nutrients may be supplied to the stock. A circumferential lip about the outside perimeter of the cover is adapted to fit over the top of a pot and secure the cover thereto. The cover is formed with a plurality of annular steps which are graduated in depth toward the open center. The cover is in one piece with a single radially extending slit or separation to permit the cover to be opened for placement on a pot containing growing stock. The soil covering is made up of a biodegradable cellulose paper and film covering having thereon water soluble beads of fertilizer or fungicide.
