Tank Patents (Class 472/82)
  • Patent number: 11326979
Abstract: The present invention discloses a push-swing combined wave generator, comprising a wave-generating fixing bracket, a servo motor, a driving wheel, a connecting rod, a first hydraulic cylinder, a second hydraulic cylinder, a first hydraulic cylinder push rod, a second hydraulic cylinder push rod, and a wave-generating plate. The sliding pins arranged in the wave-generating plate slide in the axial direction, and are switchable to connect either the first hydraulic cylinder push rod or the second hydraulic cylinder push rod with the wave-generating plate, and thus to render the push-swing combined wave generator to operate in respective locked state or unlocked state. The present invention integrates pushing and swinging, is capable of implementing horizontal pushing and swinging wave generating modes respectively, generating various wave types, and meeting requirements of various forms of wave generating.

  • Patent number: 9707881
Abstract: A tank for transporting fluids on a truck chassis includes a front wall, side walls, a back wall, a top, and a floor. Interior stairs extend from the floor to an opening in the top to allow stair access into the interior with integrated safety handrails on the fill port cover. Stair toe kicks act as internal transverse baffles to help control fluid motion and surging. The stairs also act as a structural stiffener between longitudinal baffles. Horizontal baffles assist in controlling fluid motion and surging. Formed baffles provide strength and stiffness. A baffle interlocking system improves joint integrity and aids manufacturing. Formed outer skins provide structural strength for the tank. Ports located in front and rear bulkheads may be used for tank ventilation or, depending on local safety codes, as secondary access points.

  • Patent number: 6036603
Abstract: In an apparatus and method for creating a wave or water vortex effect, a bridge or platform is positioned within a semi-cylinder having a downward facing curved inside surface. Nozzles shoot water onto the curved surface, creating a water layer which follows the curved surface up and around the semi-cylinder. The water layer remains against the curved surface via centrifugal force. A spiral flow path is created by declining the semi-cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5468190
Abstract: A multipurpose arena has a platform providing a performing, playing or exhibition area which can be raised or lowered to allow for different configurations of banked seating. The raising and lowering is achieved by displacement of air in or out of an air vessel formed beneath the platform, either by a hull floating in a well which can be emptied of water by air pressure or scuttled, or by a skirt depending from the platform and sealed to underlying structure. If a skirt is used, space can be reclaimed within a structure inside the skirt which provides a reaction surface for the air pressure. The skirt may be sealed to the underlying structure by a water seal in a trough, or by sealing the lower edge of a telescoping skirt to the structure.

  • Patent number: 5114140
Abstract: An underwater explosion effect simulator includes a submerged shooter for shooting props and dye-colored water through the water surface. A compressed air source is linked to the shooter to drive the charge of water from the shooter during the explosion sequence. Prop pieces are ejected from the shooter through the water surface and trajectories over a submerged collector substantially surrounding the shooter. The collector is displaceable through an underwater winching system from a collect position wherein the props settle onto the collector to a funnel position wherein the props fall under gravity into the shooter. The shooter extends from a loading position below the collector to a shooting position close to the water surface.
