Abstract: The invention relates to a golf training device comprising an annular support with a hole for a golf ball is formed. The support being provided with a plurality of members angularly distributed with each member having an external ramp and an internal ramp. The ramps are arranged to have a stable state with the external ramp arranged in a plane of access to the hole. The internal ramp is arranged protruding around the hole, and a state constrained by the passage of the ball on the member wherein the internal ramp is lowered inside of the hole. The annular support has a plurality of feet which are angularly distributed between the members, each one of the feet having a lower ground support wall and an upper wall forming an access ramp to the hole.
Abstract: A golf putting training device with a base and a plurality of posts extending upwardly from the base is provided. The plurality of posts may be positioned on a diameter of a circle and the diameter may be generally equal to a golf hole diameter. A distance between at least two of the plurality of posts is less than the golf hole diameter and thereby provides a narrow opening for a golf ball to roll through. A pair of sleeves may be positioned on a pair of adjacent posts such that the narrow opening for the golf ball to roll through is reduced. Also, an elastic member may extend between two posts and across the narrow opening for the golf ball to roll through such that a golf ball putted towards the narrow opening is redirected when it is rolls into the elastic member.
Abstract: An apparatus, used as a goal in a game with a game ball and club, comprises a frame arranged to be supported on the ground which defines a perimeter boundary surrounding a goal area sustantially at ground level and a goal mouth extending at least partway about the perimeter boundary substantially at ground level. The goal mouth fully surrounds the goal area and provides access of the game ball therethrough to the goal area. A retaining mechanism comprises a plurality of gates selectively spanning the goal mouth to control entry and exit of the game ball to and from the goal area.
Abstract: A putting training system for practicing putting outdoors on a putting green or indoors on a carpeted surface comprised of a circular toroid putting target which by design has the ability to distinguish between a correctly or incorrectly struck putt with the rule that all putts should be struck with enough force to leave the golf ball approximately seventeen inches past the hole if the hole was not there. The training aid target is visually realistic, 360 degree, three dimensional depiction of a real hole on a putting green. This is accomplished by distinguishing the color of the outer half of the target from the inner half of the target.
Abstract: A goal assembly is disclosed for receiving and retaining a game ball, such as a soccer ball. The goal assembly has a base for placement on a playing surface and is ramped downwardly toward the playing surface for receiving an incoming rolling game ball thereover. The goal assembly also has a side assembly flexibly attached to the base and extending upwardly. The side assembly has a target opening at an upper end of the side assembly and allows the incoming rolling game ball to compress one side of the upwardly extending side assembly and cause the remaining portion of the side assembly to contract in a direction opposite of the incoming game ball, thereby trapping the game ball within the goal assembly. The goal assembly is particularly desirable in pairs for playing various games. In the preferred embodiment, the goal assembly is sized for receiving a soccer ball, and is very useful as a soccer practice goal.
Abstract: A golf putting practice device includes a base portion having a surface and a perimeter. The device includes substantially flat ramp structures, connected side-by-side around and substantially adjacent to the perimeter of the base portion. Each ramp structure has a first end and a second end and extends continuously therebetween. The first ends of the ramp structures are disposed radially outward from a center of the base portion so as to define a central cup area, with the portion of the at least one surface of the base portion between the first ends of the ramp structures forming the floor of such central cup area. The device also includes pivotal connection structures mounted to the surface, each of the ramp structures is loosely, pivotally connected at the first end thereof by one of the pivotal connection structures to the surface of the base portion.
