Abstract: A game table assembly structure includes a table frame and a table face board, the table frame is composed of two pairs of sideboards. Four connection boards are disposed on top edges of the sideboards. At least one support board is disposed in the table frame with two ends connected with a pair of sideboards. The top edge of the support board is higher than the connection boards. Four connecting boards are connected under the bottom face of the table face board and define a locating space therein. When assembled, the table face board is placed on the table frame with the connecting boards and the connecting boards up and down corresponding to each other for connection, the top end of the support board fitted in the locating space. The table face board can be easily located on and assembled with the table frame.

Abstract: A hook and loop fastening system for attaching a billiard table cloth to a table bed and a rail, a billiard table cloth with template markings for assisting the installer in the correct positing and tensioning of the bed cloth and in the cutting of slits in the cloth for pocket openings (for pocket pool tables) and rail bolt holes, and a rail cloth that incorporates a tract system for attaching the rail cloth on rails to replace conventional feather strips.

Abstract: A pool table corner assembly for forming a corner pocket including a pair of adjacent rail members, a corner casting member, and a pocket member. Each rail member includes a supporting flange portion, a recessed portion, and a generally horizontal top surface. The corner casting member includes an overhanging mounting flange for mating with the recessed portion of each rail member thereby allowing the upper surface of the corner casting member to lie flush with the top surface of each rail member, and a recessed portion extending along at least a portion of its inner wall for receiving a lip portion associated with the pocket member, the lip portion having a top surface which lies flush with the upper surface of the corner casting member. In another embodiment, the corner casting member includes at least one spike member for engaging the supporting flange portion of the corresponding rail member.

Abstract: The invention comprises, in one form thereof, a number of improvements to the assembly and installation of a game tables, such as a pool table. Particularly, the improvements include an indexing system for assisting in the placement of the slate segments on a table frame; for assisting in the placement of a synthetic table bed on a table frame; a magnetic interlock system for sealing the seams of table leaves; an interlocking interface for accurately assembling the slate segments of the playing surface; a pocket and rail assembly system for easily assembling the pockets to the rails; a leg leveling system; a systems for attaching the rail cloth to the rails, and an engineered box beam table frame.

In another embodiment, a billiard table is presented comprising a playing surface, a rail, and a storage compartment that provides a mechanical connection between the playing surface and the rail.

Abstract: A billiard table and billiard ball storage compartment with mating connectors are disclosed. In one embodiment, a billiard table is provided comprising a frame comprising a first connector, a playing surface supported by the frame, and a billiard ball storage compartment comprising a second connector, wherein the second connector is configured to mate with the first connector when the billiard ball storage compartment is moved into a first position with respect to the frame. In exemplary embodiments, the billiard ball storage compartment comprises a ball storage box and/or a ball receiver box.

Abstract: The invention relates to a table (1) which can be converted into a billiard table, of the type comprising a rectangular fixed frame which is provided with vertical support feet (11) and which surrounds a rectangular central plate (13) which is covered with a cloth and which is carried by the fixed frame, and a rectangular movable frame (20) which is arranged above the fixed frame and which carries internally an assembly of rebound bands. The movable frame (20) can be displaced vertically between a lower position, forming a table, and two upper positions, in which the inner edge of the assembly of bands is, relative to the central plate, at a height for American billiards, then at a height for French billiards, respectively.

The trough includes means for directing potted balls in a particular manner, which may be in the form of channels (28). Sound-deadening material may be provided on the trough. The cushions can be attached to the trough by clips (56), pegs (90) or conventional means. The invention also extends to the trough itself, and to a method of assembling a table with a trough.

Abstract: In order to protect the appearance of and extend the life of a pool table, this protective device has been invented. It will be constructed from a lightweight yet durable material such as vinyl or cloth and be pressed, snapped or glued to the sides of the pool table. Separate devices will be used to protect the pockets of the pool table.

When in the stored position, the plurality of side rails are disposed in a primarily hidden location in order to enhance the table's appearance. Abstract: An apparatus for billiards practice, comprising a housing; an emitter connectively disposed to the housing; a pair of detectors equally spaced about the emitter; a controller having logic controlling the emitter; at least one indicator in communication with the logic; the logic receiving at least one signal from the detectors via the emitter projecting the signal onto the surface of the billiards ball; the logic resolving the position of the billiards ball with respect to the emitter in concert with the detectors; and a response to the logic resolved position of the billiards ball via the indicator. The player's instant feedback is implemented via a controller disposed within the billiards practice device. The controller has means to emit infrared signals and capture the return reflected infrared signal from the cue ball. The returned infrared signals are interpreted and processed via the controller.

Abstract: A foul line indicator for pool tables for identifying the foul line behind which a player is allowed to shoot a cue ball. The foul line indicator for pool tables includes a laser light mechanism which includes housing and a conventional laser light disposed therein. The laser light mechanism is disposed under a side rail and in a side wall under the second diamond displayed on top of the side rail and located from either end of the pool table. The laser light is adapted to direct a light beam across the playing surface of the pool table from one side to the other side to indicate the foul line. The laser light is energized by a switch disposed in the side wall of the pool table and which is connected to the laser light mechanism with wires, and also by a power source.

The game further includes providing a playing ball for each participant and a cue stick for striking the playing ball within the boundary of each golf hole. In turn, each participant, using the cue stick, propels a ball from a tee-off area on the table to the ball receiving hole.

Abstract: The invention relates to a table surface and side rail, including a replacement table surface or rail, and construction method, wherein the surface or side rail can have nearly any desired appearance, one example being marble, but that is light in weight and does not buckle or separate after construction. The table rail is made using a sandwiched construction method. In one embodiment, an under piece or under layer is provided, which may be a wood under piece, a relatively thin exterior surface layer is also provided, and is made of a suitable material to give a desired appearance, such as marble. A middle or interior layer is sandwiched between the under layer and the exterior layer. The middle layer is made of a gypsum board that does not absorb water and provides a buffer between the under and exterior layers. The sandwich is bonded together using a polyester resin.

Abstract: A new and improved apparatus for use with a pool or billiard table includes a stick assembly and arrays of light reflectors attached to the table, in parallel with the respective ball-rebounding surfaces. The stick assembly includes a stick and a laser unit connected to the stick. The laser unit includes a housing which is adjustably connected to a bracket which receives the stick. The stick can also include a spring-loaded ram assembly for striking a ball with a predetermined force that results from an amount of energy stored in a compressed spring. A trigger releases the compressed spring permitting the spring to drive the ram to strike a ball. To employ the apparatus for a straight shot, a first ball, which is to be struck by the stick, a second ball, which is to be struck by the first ball, and a target location, such as a pocket, are selected by a player.
