The cavity wall portion includes a forward wall section, a rearward wall section positioned further from the face portion that the forward wall section, and an intermediate portion positioned between the forward wall section and the rearward wall section. The solid portion is arranged within the internal cavity and is fabricated from a solid material. The lattice structure is arranged within the internal cavity and is formed layer by layer via an additive manufacturing process. The lattice structure defines a lattice volume and the solid portion defines a solid volume. An orientation of the lattice structure between the topline and the sole and a volume ratio between the lattice volume and the solid volume define a location of a center of gravity defined by the body.

Abstract: A golf club head can comprise a hollow body comprising a shell defining at least some of an exterior surface of the golf club head, and the hollow body can include a ball-striking face, a crown, a hosel, a sole, and a rear end opposite the ball-striking face. A recess can be located on the sole and can extend toward an interior of the hollow body. An opening can be located within the recess and can be defined by one or more sidewalls. A weighted insert can insert into the recess and the opening and can comprise a first end, a second end, and a middle portion disposed therebetween. The first end can extend outwardly from the middle portion in a toe-to-heel direction and the second end can extend outwardly from the middle portion in a heel-to-toe direction. A weight can be disposed within the weighted insert.

Abstract: A golf club head includes: a head body that includes a cavity; a weight that is detachably attached to the cavity; and a cover that is openably and closably attached to the head body and that covers at least a part of the cavity when the cover is in a closed state. The weight is attached to the cavity in a state where the weight is slidingly movable in the cavity. In the closed state, the cover applies a pressing force to the weight. The weight may be fixed to the cavity by a static frictional force increased by the pressing force. The cavity may form a slide groove.

Abstract: A golf swing training apparatus has a shaft, a housing with a top cap and a bottom cap, and a plurality of weighted discs receivable within the housing. A golfer may adjust the weight of the head of the club by adding or removing weighted discs in the housing. The golf swing training apparatus may comprise an accelerometer within the housing so as to measure the speed, acceleration, and swing path that the club takes for feedback and analysis to improve the golfer's swing.

The plates are preferably composed of a lightweight material such as composite, and are located on the sole so that the weight assembly is visible to a user. The plate and slidable weight combination and allows for an increased range of personal performance customization by way of adjustability and interchangeability without using up available discretionary mass in the golf club head.
