  • Patent number: 9216336
Abstract: This invention includes a golf tee portion with a shaft and two ends. One end of that portion includes a ball receiving end and one end includes a cavity portion for receiving a magnetic material. There is a cylindrical ball marker portion that goes between the golf tee portion and the base and is attracted to both. Last there is a grounded cylindrical base with two ends. One end can include a stem or series of stems so it can adhere in the ground, and one end is equipped with two cavities. One cavity is larger for placing a magnetic material which is attracted to the golf tee portion, and the removable ball marker, and a smaller cavity for magnetic material so the material in the larger cavity is held but removable. This design allows less friction on golf drives, and dual usage as a ball marker on the green.

  • Publication number: 20110092316
Abstract: A golf tee with a connecting wire includes a tee and a connecting wire. The tee has a nail rod and a ball holding portion connected with a top of the nail rod. The ball holding portion has a groove formed in a top thereof and a connecting slot formed in one side thereof. The connecting slot includes an opening portion, a passage portion and a fixing portion. One end of the connecting wire passes through the opening portion and the passage portion of the connecting slot into the fixing portion and forms a blocked portion which is located in the groove, so that the end of the connecting wire is connected with the tee. The present invention further provides a method of manufacturing a golf tee with a connecting wire. Accordingly, the connection and assembling between the connecting wire and the tee can be attained easily, firmly, and rapidly.

  • Patent number: 5679081
Abstract: A golf tee and a method of adjusting the golf tee to different heights. The golf tee has different sized body sections that are separable and may be reattachable. The top different sized section has a golf ball supporting concavity. The tee can be used both outdoors on natural grass and indoors on artificial turf. Outdoors, for high wind conditions, the top different sized section would be separated from the rest of the tee body and only the top section would be used to tee the ball, thus effectively lowering the ball. A lower trajectory is imparted to the ball causing less interaction with the wind. For low or no wind conditions, the full tee or several different sized parts of the tee are used to tee the ball at a greater height for a higher flight trajectory. For indoor use, different sized sections are removable to mimic outdoor shots in various wind conditions. Rubber feet and spikes can be added to the tee to position the tee.
