Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for efficiently removing a belt from a drive assembly of an agricultural implement in which a flywheel and a header framework cooperatively define a gap therebetween which is smaller than a cross-sectional dimension of the belt and thereby prevent the belt from being simply passed through the gap and removed from the remaining components of the drive assembly. A radially inwardly extending notch in the periphery of the flywheel is configured and dimensioned to allow a portion of the belt to be received within the notch. The notched flywheel, with the portion of the belt received in the notch, is rotatable such that the portion of the belt is moveable past the gap to thereby permit the belt to be removed from the remaining components of the drive assembly in the distal direction without requiring the removal of either the flywheel or the framework.
Abstract: A cable deflection pulley pertaining to a window lifter comprising a drive unit, a guide rail for a driver which is connected to the window and to the cable, and cable deflection pulleys with a guide or bearing groove for the cable. The device has an axially directed assembly groove in the proximity of the bearing groove to facilitate and accelerate assembly and to reduce the amount of cable required. The assembly groove contains an area adjacent to the axis of the cable deflection pulley, and an area adjacent to the bearing groove, through which the cable is pulled from the assembly groove into the bearing groove.

Abstract: An improved chain guide pulley or derailleur pulley for use with a bicycle rear derailleur system. The chain guide pulley has a guide sprocket portion and a bearing portion. The sprocket portion has, on a circular outer periphery, a plurality of teeth cut thereon. The teeth have dimensions so as to engage an endless drive chain and a cylindrical shaped inner peripheral surface defining thereby a bearing aperture. The bearing is dimensioned to be in an interfitting relationship with the guide sprocket and be attachable to the bicycle rear derailleur system. The teeth thickness dimension is not more than about three-fourths of a minimum distance between opposed pairs of roller link plates of the drive chain such that a less accurate alignment of the chain guide pulley with any one of the rear sprockets is required to effectively cause the drive chain to shift from any one of the sprockets to any other sprocket of the rear sprocket cluster.
