Abstract: A playground apparatus has a first platform assembly, a second platform assembly, and a pole structure. The first platform assembly includes a first platform structure disposed at a distance from the surface. The second platform assembly is disposed spaced apart from the first platform assembly. The second platform assembly includes a second platform structure disposed at a distance from the surface. Further, the pole structure is disposed between the first platform assembly and the second platform assembly, and includes a lever portion having at least one support structure for supporting one or more child.

Abstract: A self-standing weighted pole system for providing convenient stabilization and additional weight for an exerciser. The self-standing weighted pole system generally includes an elongated pole having a lower end and an upper end, and a base attached to the lower end of the pole. The base includes an outer end that is broader than the pole to support the pole in a substantially vertically orientated self-standing manner.

Abstract: A pneumatic tube jumping structure system to increase the safety and enjoyment of jumping and other physical activities. The pneumatic tube jumping structure employs a metal frame to support a pneumatic tube upon which a single user or multiple users may jump, bounce, or otherwise play. The frame provides safety handrails that serve dual purposes: ensuring the safety of a user; and aiding a user in jumping and otherwise making use of the pneumatic tube jumping structure system. The frame also allows for the connection of an activity attachment, such as a rope swing, for the enjoyment of a user, making the structure a multi-purpose amusement and exercise device.

Abstract: A coupling device releasably couples tubes of a pole dancing pole. The coupling device includes a body, and a mechanism comprising a first threaded element and a screw member mating with each other, the mechanism being arranged to apply a force to an interior surface of at least one of the tubes by turning the screw member with respect to the first threaded element. The mechanism is further arranged such that, during operation of the mechanism to increase the force applied to the interior surface of at least one of the tubes, a screw axis of the first threaded element and a screw axis of the screw member remain substantially aligned with each other. Also disclosed is a pole dancing pole and a pole dancing pole kit including the coupling device.

The advertising device includes a connecting element that attaches to at least one end, and optionally between two ends, with a gap between an inner element and an outer element where advertising material can be placed in the gap.

Abstract: A dance exercise pole has a base, a lower cylindrical section journalled for rotation on the base about a substantially vertical axis, a connector extending upwardly from the upper end of the lower cylindrical section, and a lowermost pole section having an internally treaded portion at its lower end for connection to an externally treaded portion of the connector whereby the height of the pole section is vertically adjustable. A sleeve is mounted to slide over the outside of the lower cylindrical section and may be detachably connected to the lowermost pole section.

The invention has the object, to provide a new rope game device, which displays a distinct “fullness” of the spatial net and which manufacture has distinct technological and cost advantages compared to known devices.

Abstract: Disclosed is a portable exercise pole that generally comprises a first hollow rod with a round base connected at the bottom, an extension, and a top piece. First rod has first and second threaded collars (e.g. nuts) welded therein. The extension generally comprises a second rod having a first threaded rod at the bottom, capped with first and second threaded collars. Third and fourth threaded collars are welded inside second rod. Top piece generally comprises a second round plate connected to a second threaded rod that snugly fits into third and fourth threaded collars or directly into first and second threaded collars, if the extension is not used. An alternate embodiment of the pole generally comprises floor and ceiling bases, a first hollow rod, a threaded insert, an extension, and an adjustment rod. Pole exercises are designed to tone and strengthen an athlete's muscles as well as build self-confidence.

Abstract: It is the object of the current invention to provide a removable exercise pole with a base connected with a housing pole that is extended by means of a telescoping upper extension pole. The pole is held in place by a compressive tensioning mechanism that also allows for manual adjustment. The pole is held in constant tension so that horizontal forces may be resisted. A capture plug that may be selectively mounted on an overhead horizontal surface serves to locate the pole on the overhead surface.

The support is positioned above the extended height of the person. An exercise system for strengthening coordination between a person's hand muscles and muscles of the lower part of a person's body thus includes (a) an elevated substantially horizontal flexible support; and (b) a hanging article, wherein the support is positioned above the extended height of the person.

Abstract: A playswing assembly apparatus comprising a spinning wheel having a central housing with a hub therewithin, and an elongated shaft arranged through the hub. The shaft is attached to a first and a second support arm. The first and second support arms may be adjustably connected to an overhead support to permit swinging of the spinning wheel to a to and fro swinging motion with respect to the overhead support. The hub includes a hand graspable spinning wheel rotatively supported therefrom to permit a simultaneous rotational motion to the player(s) during the to and fro swinging. A lower support may be coupled to the hub to allow further player support and yet further rotation of the player with respect to the spinning wheel and to the overhead support.

Abstract: A playground appliance comprising a plurality of support members from which are suspended net units to form a non-planar playing surface that children can climb. The support members include vertical posts supported on the ground by anchoring devices. Each anchoring device includes a ground engaging support plate having a surface substantially exceeding a transverse dimension of the vertical post. Ground penetrating spike members are driven through the support plate to stabilize the post. The assembly is easy to erect and can sustain heavy loading without collapsing.

Abstract: A tug of war machine is described which includes a belt loop which is pulled in a generally horizontal direction. The resistance placed on the loop can be selected to either provide a static pull or a hand-over-hand tug of war-type pulling exercise. Additionally, a treadmill may be used in conjunction with the tug of war loop cord to provide simultaneous exercise for the legs and the back. A monitor displays the performance of the user and compares this performance with the effort relative to a predetermined standard of reference.
