  • Patent number: 10987538
Abstract: The invention concerns a modular exercise system having a first support frame module having a plurality of frame members, each member being joined to an adjacent frame member and oriented in a common plane such that the first support frame is two-dimensional in form. The modular exercise system further requires a weight source mounted on the first support frame, a plurality of pulleys mounted to different frame members of the first support frame, and a cable running from the weight source over the pulleys to connect the weight source to one or more manual actuator for performing a resistance exercise in use. The first support frame has one or more attachment formation for selective attachment to one or more further support frame module. The further support frame module is also two-dimensional in form and attachable to the first support frame in an orientation within the common plane, wherein the further support frame module has one or more further manual actuator.

Abstract: A ring guard is provided as a sleeve with first and second width edges and a length extending between the width edge. The sleeve first width edge is open into an interior of the sleeve. The sleeve first width edge is configured to receive a strap of a gymnastics ring into an interior of the sleeve. The second width edge has a loop. The loop has a distal end with a releasable connector. The loop distal end releasable connector is releasably connectable with the sleeve at the second width edge in a manner such that when the loop is directed through an inner diameter of a gymnastics ring, the loop holds the sleeve in position relative to the gymnastics ring. The sleeve may have releasable connectors to allow the sleeve to be arranged around the gymnastics ring strap with the loop around the gymnastics ring.

  • Patent number: 10807244
Abstract: Systems and corresponding control methods providing a ballistic robot that flies on a trajectory after being released (e.g., in non-powered flight as a ballistic body) from a launch mechanism. The ballistic robot is adapted to control its position and/or inflight movements by processing data from onboard and offboard sensors and by issuing well-timed control signals to one or more onboard actuators to achieve an inflight controlled motion. The actuators may move an appendage such as an arm or leg of the robot or may alter the configuration of one or more body links (e.g., to change from an untucked configuration to a tucked configuration), while other embodiments may trigger a drive mechanism of an inertia moving assembly to change/move the moment of inertia of the flying body. Inflight controlled movements are performed to achieve a desired or target pose and orientation of the robot during flight and upon landing.

Abstract: A portable gymnastic device comprising a suspension means having two opposed and complementary rigid hooks, which are pivotally connected together and to a U-shaped frame by a pin. Hooked upper ends of the hooks are engaged over a horizontal cross member of the doorframe or a horizontal bar. The hooks are normally biased to a closed position permanently by the spring. A rope is connected with the U-shaped frame by a knot, which is placed on a top end of the rope. A handle is connected with a bottom end of the rope by suitable means such as a cam within the handle. On the bottom end of the rope several handles may be set on different levels to accommodate different height users and different exercises.
