  • Patent number: 11292145
Abstract: A blade changer unit includes a blade chuck for holding a cutting blade, a moving unit for moving the blade chuck, and a control unit for controlling moving unit. The blade chuck has a plurality of electrically conductive grippers for holding the cutting blade. The controller detects conduction between the grippers and a boss. The control unit includes a calculator for calculating the position of a central axis of the mount from coordinates where the conduction between the holder and the boss is detected when the moving unit is controlled to bring the grippers into contact with the mount at at least three points, and a mounting/dismounting controller for mounting and dismounting the cutting blade while the central axis of the blade chuck is aligned with the central axis of the mount calculated by the calculator.

  • Patent number: 9020629
Abstract: Loads that act on all the bearings that support a main spindle are derived from a variation in the state of the main spindle and, in addition, raceway surface contact pressures of the respective bearings are analyzed, so it is possible to accurately keep track of the state of each bearing. Then, when the raceway surface contact pressure exceeds a corresponding threshold, a machining condition is changed to execute control such that the raceway surface contact pressure does not exceed the corresponding threshold, and, furthermore, when the raceway surface contact pressure exceeds the corresponding threshold even when the machining condition is changed, the main spindle is controlled to stop, so it is possible to prevent a seizure of each bearing. Thus, it is possible to improve machining accuracy by controlling the main spindle with high accuracy.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tool turret comprising: a housing (10), for connection to a machine tool, an electric drive motor (28), a tool disc (14), which is mounted such as to rotate relative to the housing (10), about a longitudinal axis (34) and which may be fixed in selected angular positions, with recesses (16) for machining tools (18). At least one rotating machining tool (18) may be driven by the drive motor (28), using shafts (24, 30), running perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (34) and which represent the swivelling axis of the tool disc (14). The above is embodied with the electric drive motor (28) arranged within the tool disc (14) and the driveshaft (30) from the electric drive (28) aligned with the driveshaft (24) for the machining tool (18) or running parallel thereto, such that an economical drive design for machining tools on a tool turret is achieved, furthermore with a small installation volume.

Abstract: In a method and device for automatically exchanging knife units of a knife ring slicing device, the knife changing magazine is moved relative to the knife ring into a knife changing position in which the knife receptacles of the knife changing magazine are axially aligned with the knife receptacles of the knife ring. The worn knives of the knife ring are moved axially into empty knife receptacles of the knife changing magazine. A relative movement between the knife changing magazine and the knife ring is carried out until the knife changing magazine and the knife ring are again in a knife changing position in which the knife receptacles with resharpened knife units are aligned with the knife receptacles in the knife ring.
