Abstract: A crossing gate mechanism (300) includes a linkage (320) operably coupled to a crossing gate arm (310), wherein the crossing gate arm (310) is movable between a vertical position (VP) and a horizontal position (HP) via the linkage (320), wherein the linkage (320) is in a first position when the crossing gate arm (310) is in the vertical position (VP) and in a second position when the crossing gate arm (310) is in the horizontal position (HP), and wherein the linkage (320) in the second position mechanically locks the crossing gate arm (310) in the horizontal position (HP).

Abstract: A sliding panel structure. The sliding panel structure includes a frame having an upper support track and a lower guide rail. At least one sliding panel is connected between the upper support track and the lower guide rail. The sliding panel includes a sliding panel pivot axis and an extension for riding in the lower guide rail. The extension prevents undesired pivoting of the sliding panel about the sliding panel pivot axis. A mutual attraction device is connected between the sliding panel and the frame with a first mutual attraction part connected to the frame and the second mutual attraction part connected to the sliding panel. A fulcrum is utilized for tilting the sliding panel whenever the first mutual attraction part engages the second mutual attraction part.
Abstract: A product server for holding and displaying food products is disclosed. The product server has a front customer side, a rear employee side and a breath guard. The breath guard comprises a cover on a cabinet of the product server that is moveable between a lowered position covering the food products and a raised position in which the cover serves as a breath guard and allows access to the food products. Upright side panels are provided adjacent opposite ends of the product server. The breath guard extends between the upright side panels as it moves between its raised and lowered positions.
Abstract: A product server for holding and displaying products. The product server has a front customer side, a rear employee side and a breath guard. The breath guard comprises a cover attached to the product server that is moveable between a lowered position covering the products held by the product server and a raised position in which the cover serves as a breath guard and allows access to the products. The cover is sufficiently transparent to allow viewing of the products from the customer side of the product server.
Abstract: A movable barrier for controlling accesses in general, comprising at least one wing which is provided by at least two mutually connected panels which can rotate to arrange themselves in a mutually superimposed position and in a side-by-side adjacent position as a continuation of each other, in the access blocking position the two panels being in a mutually superimposed position.
Abstract: A sensor assembly and method for detecting the position of an openable pane in a sliding vehicle door includes a window regular mechanism having a main lift arm supporting the pane and a drive mechanism for moving the pane in downward and upward directions. The main lift arm includes a sector gear plate at one end thereof. The sector gear plate is drivingly rotated by the drive mechanism. A slot is defined in the sector gear plate and the guide of a sensor mechanism is received in the slot. The guide is moved along the slot as the sector gear plate is rotated such that the guide is moved into a first portion of the slot when the sector gear plate is driven in a first rotatable direction to move the window pane toward its closed position and moved into a second portion of the slot when the sector gear plate is driven in a second, opposite rotatable direction to move the window pane toward its open position.
Abstract: A product server for holding and displaying products. The product server has a front customer side, a rear employee side and a breath guard. The breath guard comprises a panel attached to the product server and moveable between a lowered position preventing access to products held by the product server and a raised position allowing access to the products. The panel being sufficiently transparent to allow viewing of the products held in the product server.
Abstract: A window for use in buildings for housing animals, such as barns, that is openable in two generally perpendicular directions, is provided. The window includes an outer frame secured within an opening in the structure, a middle frame that is pivotally secured to the outer frame, and an inner frame pivotally secured to the middle frame. A first pivoting mechanism includes a pair of hinges that enable one of the frames to be pivoted with respect to the outer frame along a generally vertical axis, and the second pivoting mechanism enables the other frame to be pivoted with respect to the outer frame along a generally horizontal axis. The second mechanism pivots and slides one of the frames in order to open the window for ventilation purposes while enabling the remaining frame to remain closed, thereby preventing the entering or exiting of large objects through the window, such as an animal's head.
Abstract: The present invention features a coke drum de-heading system comprising (a) at least one coke drum having an orifice therein; (b) a de-header valve removably coupled to the coke drum designed to de-head the coke drum; and (c) an exchange system, including an upper and lower bonnet and other elements and members adapted to integrate the de-heading system, and particularly the de-header valve, into the manufacturing system.
