    Abstract: An autoclave is disclosed which includes direct heating and improved access. The autoclave includes a heating system which is placed directly into the pressurized chamber such that materials which are placed directly into the autoclave are directly heated. The autoclave includes doors which are disposed inside of the pressure vessel which seal against the inside surface of the pressure vessel upon pressurization. In one embodiment a pivot system is used to hold the door in place when the autoclave is not sufficiently pressurized so as to hold the door against the inside wall of the autoclave. In an alternate embodiment a robotic system is used to hold the door in place when the autoclave is not sufficiently pressurized so as to hold the door against the inside wall of the autoclave. The robotic system is also used to move the door out of the way after depressurization.

    Abstract: An arrangement guides a swing-out sliding door of a vehicle body without a center guide rail which is visibly disposed on the outside on the vehicle body side wall. One linearly constructed guide rail respectively is fixed within the door opening on its upper and lower edge on the vehicle body side. A roller carriage to which the sliding door is linked by way of a control arm parallelogram travels in each guide rail. One closing roller respectively guided in each guide rail travels at the end of the door closing sliding movement into a circular closing groove branching off the guide rail in the direction of the sliding door. The closing roller is fixed to one of the control arms of the control arm parallelogram. The closing groove is constructed such that its curvature center in the door closing position of the roller carriage coincides with the roller-carriage-side hinge axis of the control arm carrying the closing rollers.

The association mechanism removes the association between the auxiliary rails and the sliders when the auxiliary rails have reached substantially innermost end portions of the main rails, respectively. By this, the sliders are allowed to slide inwardly of the cabinet body along the auxiliary rails.

    Abstract: The apparatus is an apparatus for rotating a "lazy susan" shelf inside a cabinet. The apparatus uses a cam action to move the door back toward the axis and away from the cabinet edges as rotation begins upon opening, at the same time releasing a detent on the rotational motion of the shelves. As the shelf rotation position approaches the closure position of the door, the door moves gently out toward its closed position, and the door is automatically aligned. This is accomplished with a spring loaded support on the rotating shelf assembly which carries a roller that follows a stationary circular cam that has an indentation in it to activate the door's front to back movement. The forward motion of the door caused by the spring action is also slowed by a movement damper.

Each rod rests with one of its ends in a door hinge that is rotatable with the support rod through an angle of, for example 90.degree., while the door can be shifted up or down along the support rods. For this purpose a torque shaft which is rotatably mounted to the door frame is connected through toggle devices to the other end of the respective support rod, whereby rotation of the torque shaft lifts or lowers the door relative to the support rods. The same torque shaft is connected to the support rods through a linkage device, including a bellcrank lever for rotating the support rods simultaneously with the lifting or lowering of the door relative to the support rods, whereby the hinges can be moved from a recessed position inside the door structure when the door is closed into an extended position outside the door structure for opening the door.

    Abstract: An operating mechanism for an aircraft door performs all the door motions and locking motions for the opening and closing of the door with the aid of electric motors which operate the respective elements of the mechanism through gear drives or through spindle drives to provide the power or torque moment for the respective motion. The door sealing may be accomplished with contact hardware components or with toggle hardware components for taking up the forces resulting from the internal cabin pressure. The door is hinged to the aircraft body structure by a guiding and supporting hinging element, one end of which is hinged to the aircraft body structure while the other end is hinged to the door structure. The door swinging motions in the opening and closing directions, the door opening and closing motions and the door locking and unlocking motions are all performed by program controlled electric motors. Such motors also control the deployment of an emergency escape slide.

    Abstract: A door for an article of furniture which is slidable into a door compartment is fastened to a door-carrying bar which in turn is connected to a scissors-assembly having two beams anchored on one side wall of the door compartment. The door-carrying bar is guided on an upper rail fixed to one of two side walls of a door compartment and on a lower rail also disposed in the door compartment. In order to permit a precise fitting of the door and to facilitate an adjustment of the door, the lower rail is also fixed to the one of two side walls. Both rails are connected to the one side wall by bushings screwed into the rails and permitting an adjustment of a spacing of the rail from the side wall. The door-carrying bar has a roller which, when the door is not lowered, presses against a plastic plate provided in the vicinity of the leading edge of the one side wall. A setscrew is provided to permit a vertical displacement of the bar with respect to the scissors-assembly.
