Pivot Axis Moves Along Guide Patents (Class 49/260)
  • Publication number: 20030014920
Abstract: The invention discloses a window with multi-way for opening, which can be in pull/push and opened outwards even in pull/push process through elements like sliding pipes etc. There are frame assembly and sash assembly. Each horizontal frame has a cavity with an opening, a guide track for sliding mounted on the bottom slab, and a pair of subsidiary guide tracks provided on the side slabs. Several roller devices are arranged along sliding pipe assembly and matched with the guide track and subsidiary guide track of the horizontal frame. Therefore, the sliding pipe assembly can be moved along the horizontal frame. Furthermore, a hinge assembly fastened to the sliding pipe is provided in one of the stile of sash assembly to be used for supporting rotation of the sash assembly.

  • Patent number: 5636476
Abstract: In a device for opening and closing a window, a casement moves between a closed and an open position with respect to a stationary frame. This is done by a longitudinally displaceable toothed rack, which effects the movement of the casement of a carrier. In order to obtain a space saving, easy to operate device. Not only is the casement moved by the toothed rack, but the casement is also moved by a moveable closing element in the frame between its latching position and unlatching position with a stationary carrier located on the frame. Both carriers are connected respectively to the toothed rack by means of an independent coupling, which is rendered effective and ineffective at an associated change-over location. These two change-over locations are arranged in a specific place in the path of longitudinal displacement of the toothed rack, respond to the associated coupling and are automatically effective.

  • Patent number: 4086727
Abstract: A horizontal pivot window construction. The window includes a window frame having a sill, a head, and a pair of upright jambs which interconnect the ends of the sill with the ends of the head. The window sash is mounted within the frame and the sash includes upper and lower rails and upright stiles which interconnect the opposite ends of the upper and lower rails. Means are provided for supporting the window sash within the window frame for movement of the sash between a closed and locked position and an open and unlocked position. The supporting means includes means for pivotally mounting the sash within the frame for movement about a substantially horizontal axis so as to make the normal exterior side of the window accessible from the interior of the room in which the window is located. The supporting means also includes a member for vertically moving the sash between an upper position and a lower position when the stiles and the jambs are substantially coextensive with each other.

  • Patent number: 3991519
Abstract: A window construction has at least two window- and/or wall-forming sections mounted in series on a common, stationary top profile member of which at least one first type of section is pivotably suspended about an upper horizontal axis for swinging from a closed position to an airing position and vice-versa and a second type of section is either similarly pivotably suspended or stationarily mounted on said member. The top profile member has two separate grooves, one for each of the types of section, which enables the first type of section to be also longitudinally displaceable relative to the section of the second type and independently of any remaining sections. Each section forms exclusively on the inwardly directed side thereof a sealing abutment against its respective stationary packing arrangement. The packing arrangement for the first type of section is arranged approximately flush with the outwardly directed side of the second type of section.
