The window-winding arrangement contains a drive means (5) as well as a guide means for the drive and for guiding a pane (2) belonging to the window-winding arrangement. The drive means and guide means is designed in a manner such that the drive force for movement is applied onto the pane such that this (4.1; 4.2) independently of its movement direction is always pressed against a certain guide edge (6c) of the guide means. With this it is rendered possible on manufacture of the window-winding arrangement to envisage greater tolerances as well as to do away with the costintensive installation of additional guide rails in the door inner space. Furthermore one achieves a reduction in friction as well as a reduction in weight.

Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle door, consisting of an interior sheet metal and an exterior sheeting, together which form a hollow interior space of the door, having an opening in the interior sheet metal and having a carrier module that closes said opening, and carries at least one functional part of the motor vehicle door, such as a hinge part, lock part or window lifter part. In order to simplify the assembly of a motor vehicle door it is proposed that the vehicle door (10) features, apart from the opening (18) in the interior sheet metal (12) which may be closed by means of a carrier module, an additional access opening (22) adequately large for inserting the carrier module, including the at least one functional part, into the interior space (16) of the door and that the carrier module consists of a base plate (20) which closes the opening (18) of the interior sheet metal (12) from the side of the hollow interior space (16) of the door.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a glass attachment and method of assembly for a movable vehicle window, particularly in a vehicle door. A pair of glass clips are attached to a window glass, and a pair of carriers are mounted and retained in a door by cable sets. A snap-in installation is performed by sliding camming guide shoulders on the carriers into channels formed by cam engagement flanges on the glass clips. As the camming action takes place, the carriers are lifted into use positions and catches on the glass clips engage catch openings on the carriers to secure the components together. Grooves in the carriers direct the cable sets, the ends of which are retained in the carriers by ferrules and cable take-up springs.

For coupling the window pane to the adjusting mechanism of the window lifter, a guide region is formed on a surface of the pane element via which the window pane is engageable with a guide device of the adjusting mechanism, displaceable in a direction of adjustment. The guide region forms at least one stop, which counteracts a pivoting of the window pane about an axis extending perpendicular to a plane of the window pane.

Abstract: A window regulator that resists backdrive forces directly at the lift plate and rail, rather than by the drive assembly. A locking shoe mounted within the lift plate and selectively frictionally engages the rail while the drive assembly is at rest. Thus, any backdrive forces are transmitted from the window glass to the lift plate, and then directly to the rail, avoiding the drive assembly. A release fork that is coupled to the drive cable automatically disengages the locking shoe when the drive assembly is activated, and engages the locking shoe when the drive assembly disengages.
