Abstract: An in-vehicle device includes: a movable member; a motor that moves the movable member; at least one detection switch that detects movement of the movable member; and a controller that controls the motor based on a detected output of the detection switch. The in-vehicle device further includes: a locking mechanism unit that, upon determination by the controller based on the detected output from the detection switch that the movable member reaches an end point region in a movement direction, locks the movable member, and upon determination by the controller that a main switch is set to OFF, releases the lock; and a motor driver that, after the release of the lock by the locking mechanism unit, upon determination by the controller based on the detected output from the detection switch that the movable member is moved again, drives the motor to move the movable member.
Abstract: A lock release control device for an opening and closing body configured to control an opening and closing body that opens and closes an opening portion of a vehicle. The opening and closing body comes into contact with a sealing member provided on a vehicle body side of the vehicle in a fully closed state. Abstract: A power swing door actuator for moving a passenger swing door relative to a body portion of a motor vehicle. The power swing door actuator includes a housing rigidly fixed to the swing door, a motor mounted to the housing, a connector link having a first end pivotably coupled to the vehicle body portion and a second end pivotably coupled to a drive nut of a spindle drive mechanism. A leadscrew of the spindle drive mechanism is rotatably driven by the motor for causing relative translational movement between the drive nut and the leadscrew which, in turn, results in pivoting movement of the connector link while the vehicle door swings between open and closed positions in response to selective actuation of the motor. The power swing door actuator is further equipped with an integrated door check mechanism.

Abstract: A remotely activated door-opening mechanism is provided for a cage trap having an animal enclosure, preferably a cage trap as disclosed in U.S. Publ. No. US2008/0115405. The mechanism is mounted outside the enclosure of the trap and is preferably remotely activated by an IR or RF transmitter to open a door of the trap and release a trapped animal when the operator is at a safe distance away. The mechanism may also be manually set with a time delay and may be associated with either a main entry door to the trap or with a secondary escape door located at an opposite end of the trap.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of operating a movable barrier operator includes engaging a flexible driven member with a drive of the movable barrier operator. Abstract: A sliding door drive assembly is provided for a vehicle. The assembly includes at least one grooveless drum. The drum has a cable wrap surface and is rotatable to wind cable thereon and unwind cable therefrom. A guide is positioned to be aligned generally with a first axial edge of the cable wrap surface. As cable is wrapped on the drum, the angle of the cable (due to the position of the guide) biases the cable towards the first axial edge, so that successive wraps of cable are snuggly positioned adjacent prior wraps. In another aspect, a cable drum includes a ramp at a second axial edge of the cable wrap surface, which guides the cable radially outwardly to start a second layer of wraps of cable on the first layer of wraps. In another aspect, an absolute position sensor is provided for a powered sliding door.

The tailgate energy management system also includes a speed sensor sensing an opening speed of the tailgate and an electronic control unit electronically coupled to the governor and the speed sensor. The electronic control unit receives a speed signal indicative of the opening speed of the tailgate and the processor executes the instruction set to cause the electronic control unit to transmit a control signal to the governor to slow the opening speed of the tailgate based on the speed signal.

Abstract: A cover opening-closing device for opening or closing a cover relative to a base is provided. The cover opening-closing device includes an actuation module, a transmission module, and a rotating shaft. The actuation module is disposed on the base and between the base and the cover. The transmission module is engaged to the actuation module. The rotating shaft has a first end and an opposite second end. The first end is joggled to the actuation module, and the second end is connected to the cover. The actuation module drives the rotating shaft to rotate through the transmission module, so as to allow the cover connected to the rotating shaft to move to an open position or a close position relative to the base. Thereby, a user's time is saved and proper opening and closing of the cover is ensured. A multi-function printer with the cover opening-closing device is further provided.
Abstract: Door and frame assemblies are disclosed by the present application. In one exemplary embodiment, the a door is connected to a door frame, such that the door is moveable between an open position and a closed position. Activation of a trigger causes a door frame coupling arrangement to couple the door frame to the door in a closed position to thereby inhibit movement of the door relative to the frame. In another exemplary embodiment, a door is coupled to a door frame by a hinge. The hinge is configured to move the door in translation as the door is rotated from the open position to the closed position. For example, the hinge may move the door downward, toward the sill, when the door is moved from the open position to the closed position.
