  • Patent number: 12220880
Abstract: A tube body production method includes: a disposing step of disposing carbon fibers with respect to an outer circumferential surface of a mandrel so that the carbon fibers extend in the axial direction of the mandrel; and a molding step of impregnating the fiber body with a resin on the outer circumferential surface of the mandrel and then heating the resin to mold the resin, wherein the disposing step and the molding step are performed in a state where the axial direction of the mandrel coincides with an up-down direction.

  • Patent number: 7922641
Abstract: The machine for producing tubes includes a winding spindle around which strips of weblike material are wound to form the tube, which is made to advance along the spindle; a device for supply and winding of the strips around the spindle, and at least one knife for cutting lengths of the tube being formed. The knife is provided with a reciprocating movement parallel to the spindle. There is moreover envisaged a counter-knife within the tube being formed, provided with a movement of translation synchronized to the movement of translation of the knife. The counter-knife is magnetically constrained to a mover member, which transmits the motion to the counter-knife.

  • Patent number: 6406415
Abstract: The apparatus for forming a container is situated in a container-forming unit comprising different processing stations. The apparatus for forming a container includes a wrapping mandrel attached to a moving structure, which is arranged to move the wrapping mandrel between different processing stations, and the members for feeding the blank to the wrapping mandrel. The apparatus for forming the container also has members to wrap the blank around the wrapping mandrel in order to form a structure that is closed in the horizontal cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The wrapping mandrel is equipped with suction openings distributed on its perimeter, which openings are connected to the air duct in order to wrap the blank around the wrapping mandrel with the aid of suction.

  • Patent number: 5718798
Abstract: The machine for manufacturing vulcanized-rubber tubes has a pair of heads arranged oppositely with respect to mandrels which rotate two or more tubular cores, supported by supporting elements with fixed rollers on a supporting frame. The tubular cores are contained in a thermally insulated box-like container, wrapped in the tubes to be vulcanized and unloaded by transfer means. The container has heads for supplying electrical power to the cores. Devices are provided for removing the cores from the container. The machine also has a carriage which can move along guides which are parallel to the cores, and a mechanism for wrapping the cores simultaneously with spirals of the materials to be used to manufacture tubes.

  • Patent number: 4371368
Abstract: In the manufacture of explosive fusecord stranded reinforcing wrapping material is helically spun around an encased fusecord core by advancing the fusecord core axially through at least one supply reel of wrapping material and training at least one strand of wrapping material from the reel around the fusecord core by means of a driven flyer rotating around the fusecord core. Strands of wrapping material may be trained from two or more supply reels preferably mounted in line co-axially with the path of the fusecord core. The method permits faster production than can be achieved by the conventional method wherein the wrapping material is applied from supply reels rotating orbitally around the path of the fusecord core.
