The compressed portion has a top-surface groove formed on the skin-contact-surface side, and a back-surface groove formed on the clothing-contact-surface side. A bottom portion of the top-surface groove is flat. Since the recessed portions are formed in the bottom portion of the back-surface groove through the compression process, a compression part where the density of the absorber is increased more than in an uncompressed portion and high compression parts where the density of the absorber is increased more than in the compression part are formed in the bottom portion. Abstract: A table cover assembly for covering a table-top is provided. The table cover assembly comprises a flexible table cover, one or more cords, and locking elements. The flexible table cover is configured to be securely and immovably positioned on table-tops having a shape generally similar to the shape of the flexible table cover. The flexible table cover comprises one or more layers affixed to one another to create the flexible table cover. The flexibly table cover is hemmed around its periphery. The hemmed periphery defines an interstitial cavity extending along the hemmed periphery for inserting a cord which can be tightened and locked using the locking elements, for positioning the flexible table cover on the table-top to provide a secure, immovable and smooth surface on the table-top. The flexible table cover allows guidable and bounceable movement of articles placed on the flexible table cover covering the table-top.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling the registration of a first elongated continuous structure (e.g., plastic fastener tape) with attachments (e.g., sliders) or formed features (e.g., slider end stop structures), as it is fed to a sealing station, where it is joined to a second elongated continuous structure (e.g., a web of packaging material) with formed features (e.g., thermoformed troughs). The second elongated continuous structure is intermittently advanced through the machine by the same distance each advancement. During each dwell time, the first elongated continuous structure is processed, i.e., structural features are attached and/or formed. Proper registration of the structural features on the first elongated continuous structure with the second elongated continuous structure is accomplished by adjusting the distance that the unjoined upstream portion of the first elongated continuous structure advances as a function of feedback acquired downstream.

The zipper feed apparatus loads zippers into a sealing platen of a rotating turret. The rotating turret carries the zippers successively to a position adjacent a surface of the film and a seal bar presses the film to successive zippers to seal the zippers thereto while a new zipper is being received in a sealing platen of the turret at a loading station at a rotational position at a distance from the sealing station.
