The side panels are obtained from two continuous web materials on which a series of first transverse cuts are carried out, alternating with a series of second transverse cuts, defining on each of said web materials a first and a second succession of front and rear side panels in which each of the front panels is preceded and followed by one of the rear panels, and each of the rear panels is preceded and followed by one of the front panels, and wherein the proximal edge of each of the rear panels is aligned with the distal edge of each of the front panels and the distal edge of each of the rear panels is aligned with the proximal edge of each of the front panels.

Abstract: A food tray adapted to be removably located in a predetermined position in a compartment is provided having a tray body and a fixed movable stop member. The tray body includes a first end and a second end, a bottom and a sidewall structure defining a volume. The fixed movable stop member is located at one end of the tray body and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. When the tray is inserted in the compartment in the predetermined position, the fixed movable stop member is in the extended position and restrains further insertion of the tray into the compartment. A method of making a food tray in accordance with the invention is provided. Also provided is a method of storing food within a food tray to be contained in a pass-through compartment.

Abstract: A pad is disclosed having a grid of absorbent structures (e.g., squares) formed on the pad. The pad may be used to quantify or otherwise assess blood loss by a patient. For example, blood lost by the patient and absorbed by the pad may be quantified by counting the number of saturated squares on the pad and taking into account the known absorbance of each square.

Abstract: A package having a recloseable pour spout is disclosed, with the package including front and rear package panels which may be joined at respective side edges thereof by inwardly extending side gussets. An upper edge portion of the package is removable, including one of the side gussets, to form a pour spout for dispensing the contents of the package. A fastener strip, which can be detachably connected to itself, extends between confronting inside surfaces of the front and rear package panels, adjacent to the pour spout, whereby the pour spout can be conveniently closed after the package is initially opened. A method of forming the present package is also disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the methods herein relate to the fabrication of diaper pants wherein side panels connected with the first waist region of a discrete chassis are conveyed in a first direction until a second waist region advances past a nip. The crotch region of the chassis is then redirected into the nip, folding the chassis to position the second waist region into a facing relationship with the first waist region. The folded chassis is then conveyed in a second direction with the side panels positioned on panel conveyors extending laterally outward from the first waist region. As the folded chassis travels in the second direction, the panel conveyors twist to position end regions of the side panels to connect with the second waist region of the folded chassis. The side panels and the waist regions of the folded chassis may also be compressed between the panel conveyors and a roller.

Methods and systems automatically pattern a first material according to a container pattern specified by the container page to output a flat and patterned container sheet to a stacking location, and automatically fold the flat and patterned container sheet at the stacking location to form a three-dimensional container. Further, such methods and systems automatically print markings specified by the product pages on additional sheets of material. Then, after forming the three-dimensional container and printing the markings, such methods and systems automatically pattern the additional sheets of material according to a product pattern specified by the product pages to output product items to the stacking location. Further, such methods and systems automatically stack the product items in the three-dimensional container. The container pattern has a specific size and shape to accommodate the stacking pattern.

The vehicle also has first and second clutches and a controller. The clutches have opposite apply states. The second clutch connects an output shaft of the motor to the final drive assembly to establish a drive mode. The controller selects between the drive and neutral-charging modes in response to input signals. The drive mode uses energy from the supercapacitor module and battery pack to power the traction motor. The neutral-charging mode uses output torque from the engine to charge the supercapacitor module and battery pack. The clutches may be pneumatically-actuated, and the vehicle may be characterized by an absence of planetary gear sets.

The laminated roll can include a first substrate having a length and a plurality of sealed pouches disposed on the substrate at predetermined intervals along its length. Each sealed pouch can include a graphite sheet having first and second sides, the first side affixed to the substrate, and a second substrate affixed to at least the second side of the graphite sheet and to a portion of the substrate to fully seal the graphite sheet within an enclosed space. In one embodiment, the roll of sealed graphite sheet pouches can be fixed to a roll of another substrate in a roll-to-roll fashion and the combined rolls can be cut into discrete portions for use in a particular application. For example, the roll of the other substrate can be a roll of enhanced spectral reflector (ESR).

The containment pant is substantially devoid of an integrated absorbent core. The absorbent insert is devoid of a fluid-impervious layer.

Abstract: Dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed, in some embodiments, that involve treating a tissue site with reduced pressure, wherein the dressing includes a dressing reduced-pressure indicator that allows one to ascertain that the reduced pressure applied at the dressing is greater than a threshold reduced pressure. The dressing reduced-pressure indicator may include a moving member that is adapted to move under reduced pressure and a visual indicator associated with the moving member. Another embodiment uses an electro-mechanical indicator to provide a powered visual alert or audible alert or another output signal. Other dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed.

Left and right side panels of the front and back belt portions may each have a tummy belt region between the waist end region and the leg end region. And, the waist end region may have an opacity of at least 15 points greater than that of the tummy belt region.

Abstract: A clothing wipe includes an applicator having a novel odor neutralizing formulation deposited on one layer that is bonded to another layer to form a finger mitt. The applicator is removed from a pouch and rubbed against a person's clothing that may have accumulated a variety of smoke, food, and other odors during an outing. The odors clinging to the clothing are neutralized by contact with the odor neutralizing formulation. The applicator is stored in the pouch when not in use. A method of fabricating the clothing wipe in a web process is disclosed.

The sheet of tissue paper is positioned under grippable areas of the cover sheet to provide enhanced thermal insulation of the grippable areas. The cover sheet is releasably fastened to the tubular wall so that the tissue paper can be easily removed and used for its direct purpose, e.g. wiping a surface.

Abstract: An absorbent article that is capable of inhibiting leakage of a fluid insult is provided. The absorbent article contains a fluid-shrinkable member, topsheet, and a base pad that includes a baffle and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the baffle. The fluid-shrinkable member extends in a longitudinal direction of the article so that at least a portion of the member is located adjacent to an end of the topsheet. At least a portion of the end of the topsheet remains generally unbonded to the baffle. Thus, when the fluid-shrinkable member contracts upon contacting a fluid insult, the end of the topsheet can rise outwardly from the plane of the absorbent article. The raised area creates a barrier to the leakage of fluids from the center of the article towards its end.

The cloth is folded with the oil, or aqueous solution, or aqueous suspension embedded side on an inner side. A user's hand holds the outside of the cloth and no contamination from oil, aqueous solution, or aqueous suspension or solid occurs.

The first layer covering instructions on an inner portion of a second layer of the sealed card assembly. The method also includes coupling the first side portion to an object to enable the instructions to be covered by the first layer until removal thereof.

Abstract: Aspects of the methods herein relate to the fabrication of diaper pants wherein side panels connected with the first waist region of a discrete chassis are conveyed in a first direction until a second waist region advances past a nip. The crotch region of the chassis is then redirected into the nip, folding the chassis to position the second waist region into a facing relationship with the first waist region. The folded chassis is then conveyed in a second direction with the side panels positioned on panel conveyors extending laterally outward from the first waist region. As the folded chassis travels in the second direction, the panel conveyors twist to position end regions of the side panels to connect with the second waist region of the folded chassis. The side panels and the waist regions of the folded chassis may also be compressed between the panel conveyors and a roller.

Abstract: A package having a recloseable pour spout is disclosed, with the package including front and rear package panels which may be joined at respective side edges thereof by inwardly extending side gussets. An upper edge portion of the package is removable, including one of the side gussets, to form a pour spout for dispensing the contents of the package. A fastener strip, which can be detachably connected to itself, extends between confronting inside surfaces of the front and rear package panels, adjacent to the pour spout, whereby the pour spout can be conveniently closed after the package is initially opened. The package can include a longitudinal seal which extends from adjacent the pour spout to overlap the fastener strip.
