Abstract: An adjustable bed base has a subframe which may be raised and lowered relative to a stationary frame by primary linear actuators. A deck is attached to the subframe. The deck may be flat or fully articulated depending upon the position of secondary linear actuators which are a part of a subframe module. The subframe module may be secured to the stationary frame of the adjustable bed base. The deck may be inclined by extending one of the primary linear actuators more than the other regardless of the positions of the deck members.

Abstract: A sofa configured to be converted into various positions, including a sofa, lounge, bed and chaise position. The sofa includes a seat deck and a backrest. Further, the sofa includes a first type of click-clack mechanisms placed between the seat deck and backrest which are used to convert the sofa to the lounge or bed position. Also, the sofa includes a second type of click-clack mechanisms placed throughout the seat deck and backrest. These are used to convert the sofa to one of two possible chaise positions. In particular, these click-clack mechanisms enable the sides of the seat deck and backrest to be raised to various levels (e.g., 20 degrees, 40 degrees). As a result, opposing sides of the seat deck and backrest can be raised at the appropriate level thereby providing two individual chaises facing one another.

Abstract: This invention relates to a transformable furniture unit, and in particular to a changing table with shelving that transforms into two sitting benches, and into a bed. The infant's changing table with shelving comprises four posts that support two tiers of shelving, with the capacity to support additional tiers in another aspect of the invention. The tiers of shelving are supported by wooden beams that connect perpendicularly to the four posts. The changing table with shelving transforms into two sitting benches when one tier of shelving is detached from the other. The furniture can be transformed into a bed when the sitting bench with the high back support is used as a headboard, the second sitting bench with no back support is used as the foot of the bed, and a supplementary support panel is attached in between, holding together the headboard and the foot of the bed.

Invented Interchangeable Upholstered Furniture Frame comprises: a seat box frame, having a fabricated metal frame, a plywood front panel; a plywood back frame. The frame can accommodate arm frames, and installation of either unfolding sleeper mechanism or a standard seat.

The first quick-release locking mechanism is attached to the base. The first cushion member has a first surface and a second surface generally perpendicular to each other. The first surface is supported on the base. The first support bracket is removably attached to the base by the first quick-release locking mechanism. The first support bracket engages the second surface of the first cushion member to solely provide lateral support thereto.

It comprises padding elements supported by two hinged frames and is characterised by a mechanism which allows the wheels of the front legs to touch the floor in both position said “bed” and “sofa. Moreover, said sofa bed comprises a mechanism which locks the rotation of the seat frame respect to the back frame and to obtain a lever which makes easier to convert the bed into a sofa. Finally, according to a subsequent aim, the assembly of a spacing bar to the right and left sides is less difficult; this spacing bar is needed to provide a sufficiently rigid base for the bed.
