Abstract: A box spring assembly for a two-person bed consisting of a rectangular frame, a pair of flat, fabric-type spring sheets extending the length of the frame at opposite sides thereof so that each forms the mattress support for one person, the sheets being secured at their distal edges to the frame, and secured together at their contiguous edges by a series of laterally extending springs, the frame providing a vertical support for the springs generally at the level of the distal edges of the sheets.
