Abstract: There is described an attachment system for attaching a plurality of elements to a resilient body, preferably for attachment of a trim cover to a foam element. The system comprising a first element having attached thereto a first attachment portion and a second element having attached thereto a second attachment portion, the first attachment portion and the second attachment portion being releasably engageable with the resilient body.

Abstract: A combined bed structure comprises a frame support and a mattress frame. The mattress frame is placed on the top portion of the frame support and comprises a frame casing, an inflatable mattress, and a cover layer. The frame casing is placed on the top portion of the frame support. The inflatable mattress is placed in the frame casing. The cover layer is placed on the top portion of the inflatable mattress. An inner frame slot with a slot opening and a slot chamber is positioned in the inner surface of the top portion of the frame casing. A hollow inflatable elastic tube is able to fully expand in the slot chamber and is connected along the periphery of the cover layer, so the cover layer is fixedly secured by inflating air into the hollow inflatable elastic tube and the cover layer is removable by deflating the elastomer.

Abstract: A trim cover assembly of a seat for use as furniture, for use in an automobile or the like is disclosed. The trim cover assembly is provided with a decorative pattern on the surface thereof. To obtain such decorative pattern, a pattern member of a tube is collapsed in a tape form and welded integrally to the surface of the body of the trim cover assembly under heat and pressure.

Abstract: A decorative member such as a welt or a button attached to a surface layer of a seat cushion, and a method and apparatus for forming such a decorative member are disclosed. In the method and apparatus, an upper plate is disposed for vertical movement relative to a lower plate, and a pair of holding members defining an insertion space between their upper end portions are vertically or horizontally movably mounted on the lower plate. A covering and a core providing the decorative member are inserted in the insertion space, and a seat cushion is placed between the upper and lower plates with its surface layer facing the holding members. The upper plate is urged downward toward the lower plate to compress the seat cushion onto the holding members while, at the same time, enclosing the core in the covering in the cooperation with the holding members. High frequency current is supplied to complete the decorative member and to weld it to the surface layer of the seat cushion.
