Abstract: Disclosed is a bedding apparatus. The bedding apparatus comprising: a snuggle bedsheet adapted to fit over a mattress, wherein the snuggle bedsheet comprises: a sheet fabric adapted to cover a top portion of the mattress; an attachment fabric having a top end and a bottom end such that the top end of the attachment fabric is attached to the sheet fabric to enclose the mattress; and a spandex sheet attached at a middle area of the sheet fabric, comprising two longitudinal sides and two lateral sides, wherein the longitudinal sides are stitched to the sheet fabric and are longer than the lateral sides, wherein both lateral sides are configured to be open at all times.

Abstract: An adjustable height bed skirt is provided for covering a gap defined between a mattress of a bed and a floor surface upon which the bed sits. The bed skirt includes a decking panel with a plurality of fastening strips spaced-apart from one another and extending along the bottom edge and side edges of the decking panel. A skirt panel includes a fastening strip that can be removably coupled to one of the plurality of fastening strips on the decking panel to adjust a vertical drop height that the skirt panel covers as it extends along three sides of the bed. The skirt panel includes corner pleats and the decking panel includes bottom corner portions, each of which do not include the fastening strips. Additionally, color-coded indicia elements are applied to the fastening strips on the decking panel to assist with connecting the skirt panel in the desired position.

Abstract: An adjustable bed sheet includes a sheet made of a first material. The sheet spans at least the length and the width of the mattress. A perimeter of the sheet is defined by edges thereof. The bed sheet also includes an elongated strip made of a second material that is more stretchable than the first material. The strip has a first elongated side opposite a second elongated side. The strip is attached, via the first elongated side, to an edge of the sheet such that, when the adjustable bed sheet is applied to the mattress, the strip is positioned, with respect to the mattress, to extend around at least one corner of the mattress from the length side of the mattress to the width side of the mattress. An end flap is attached to and hanging from the second elongated side of the strip.

Abstract: The invention comprises a plurality of components, each of which impedes or prevents intrusion by bed bugs onto a bed or kill them upon contact. A fitted sheet, impenetrable to bed bugs is removeably attached to a slippery skirt, which is too smooth for a bed bug to climb. Together, these inhibit bed bugs from climbing to the top of the bed from the floor or through the mattress. Zippers to attach the fitted sheet and slippery skirt are designed to prevent small gaps. Headboard and footboard attachments of a slippery skirt design further prevent incursion and form passive traps for encroaching bed bugs. A pesticide infused second skirt attached to the slippery skirt around the bed springs actively kills bed bugs which contact it, reducing the number of bed bugs living in an infested mattress. All parts except the slippery skirts and pesticidal skirt may be washed or heated in a conventional dryer, killing invasive bed bugs, thereby permitting extended use, reuse and higher effectiveness of the invention.

An end flap is attached to and hanging from the second elongated side of the strip.

The head and foot portions each taper in a decreasing manner from a corresponding opposite side of the body portion to the head and foot ends, respectively, so that the blanket has a rectangular shaped body portion and head and foot portions that are shaped in the form of isosceles trapezoids. Two elongate openings are provided longitudinally along the body portion sandwiching a non-inflatable area. An opening is provided at the head portion of the blanket.

Abstract: A bed skirt, comprising a fitted sheet including a continuous pocket of fabric and a securing mechanism (e.g. elastic member, drawstring) disposed about the mouth of the pocket such that a user can secure the fitted sheet about a box spring mattress. The continuous pocket of fabric includes a top portion circumscribed by side portions that completely covers the top and sides of a box spring mattress while in use. A skirt is fixedly coupled to the pocket of fabric near a junction of the top portion and the side portion of the continuous pocket of fabric, wherein the skirt extends down along the side portion when in use.

The top covering assembly may be formed with a pocket for receiving additional thermal insulation such as another blanket. Embodiments may be securely and neatly placed on rectangular mattresses, nonrectangular mattresses, and bedding without mattresses such as folding camp cots.

Abstract: A bed covering device for protecting humans, animals and objects from crawling pests such as bed bugs. The device includes a top component for contacting the top surface of bedding such as a mattress or box spring. The top component includes barrier material suitable for preventing pests from biting humans or animals resting on the bedding. The device further includes a fitted side skirt joined to the periphery of the top component and having a slippery, i.e., low friction, exterior surface that hinders bed bugs and similar pests from climbing up the covered bedding and gaining access to humans, animals, or objects resting atop the bedding. The device may be part of a system including pillow protectors, headboard and/or footboard protectors for preventing contact by traditional bed coverings with walls or bed structures that may be infested by bed bugs.

Abstract: The technology of the present application provides an adjustable bed having a stationary base and a shroud. The shroud may be provided in multiple pieces or a solitary strip of material. The shroud has a height sufficient to inhibit the view of the bottom of the adjustable bed. The shroud has either a plurality of protrusions or a plurality of receptacles. The stationary base conversely has a corresponding plurality of receptacles or a plurality of protrusions. The protrusions are sized to slidingly fit into the receptacles in a telescoping fashion. In one aspect, the shroud and stationary base have both protrusions and receptacles.

The vertically extended portions forms a series of panels or flaps that touch or slightly overlaps an adjacent flap, each flap being totally independent from the adjacent flap to allow lifting of the flap to the point of touching the mattress that rests on top of the box spring. A plurality of magnets are attached to the back panel and configured to connect the bedding skirt to the mattress frame. The bedding skirt can be rapidly connected to the mattress frame for use and rapidly removed from the mattress frame for cleaning.

Abstract: Disclosed is a dust ruffle apparatus having fastening means and a U-shaped member that includes a ruffled panel connected thereto along the outer perimeter edge thereof. The dust ruffle can be applied to the area in between a mattress and a box spring in a “tucking” manner and remains flush therewith in order to provide a decorative appearance to one's bed assembly, wherein the user is not required to lift and/or remove the mattress for application of the dust ruffle thereto. An elastic band is provided for securement to the mattress, wherein the elastic band has a handle and provides a fastener such as a hook that coincides with an eye, forming the fastening means of the dust ruffle. The elastic band can remain taut along the widthwise side of the mattress for securement thereto. The dust ruffle can be machine washable and dryer compatible for the easy cleaning thereof.

The bed skirt comprises the combination of an elongate, planar non-slip material interposable between a box spring and a mattress long a peripheral edge thereof and a layer of decorative textile/fabric depending from one side thereof extending outwardly from the mattress and box spring. Typically, three segments of non-slip material and decorative textile attached thereto are attached to form a three sided bed skirt to fit conventional bedding, although other shapes and sizes are contemplated. The non-slip material is formed from a polymer designed to remain securely in position. The fabric is cut to form a desired length to accommodate a specific box spring size.

The skirt can be provided in a variety of fabrics, colors and styles, and can be quickly installed or removed. Depending upon the design and placement of the bed, two to four panels can be installed. These panels are carefully crafted for a snug and rigid fit on the box spring, but are made of flexible fabric from the upper edge of the box spring to the floor, to accommodate most bed frames. The corners of the panels would be fastened to each other with removable fasteners. Because bed's range in height off the floor and crib springs are adjusted as the child grows, the skirts have adjustable lengths. Abstract: An interchangeable bed ruffle assembly may include a bed platform capable of intercalating between the top mattress and the box-spring base of a bed. The bed platform has first fasteners attached to a top surface and juxtaposed along a perimeter and across an entire width of the bed platform respectively. An adjustable bed ruffle may be removably attached to the bed platform and be capable of being seated about an outer perimeter of the top mattress and the box-spring base. The bed ruffle preferably has a second fasteners attached to its inner surface. The plurality of second fasteners may be removably connected to select ones of the first fasteners respectively such that the bed ruffle hangs downwardly from the perimeter of the bed platform. In this way, the bed ruffle is freely disconnected from the bed platform while the bed platform remains at a stationary position.
