Abstract: A child holder having a body defined by a sidewall surrounding an interior cavity is positionable to locate the legs and torso of a child into an interior cavity thereof. The child holder can be maintained engaged in an as-used position on the child when being moved to and between child carriers. The child holder is also maintained in the as-used position when securing and unsecuring a conventional three to five point harness conventionally connected to such child carriers.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a sectional warming blanket for patient warming having a structure comprising a first layer of material forming a bottom layer with openings to allow a profusion of air through the bottom layer, a second layer of material forming an upper layer wherein the upper layer is coupled to the bottom layer via a plurality of seals to form a plurality of interconnected air passageways, and an inlet located on the upper or bottom layers. In an embodiment, the sectional warming blanket further comprises an opening configured to receive a coupling device for coupling the sectional warming blanket to an additional sectional warming blanket. In another embodiment, the sectional warming blanket further comprises at least one outline formed from a portion of the structure, such that a section can be removed from the blanket and the blanket is re-sealed by a bonding mechanism along its periphery.

Abstract: An arm attached baby feeding pillow including a cushion assembly and a blanket assembly is disclosed herein. The cushion assembly includes a hollow cushion having an inner portion and an outer portion. The inner portion includes padding thereon and the outer portion includes a pillow. A user may insert their forearm into the hollow cushion to secure the arm attached baby feeding pillow to their body. Additionally, a baby's head is configured to rest comfortably on the pillow provided on the outer portion of the hollow cushion. Furthermore, the blanket assembly includes a blanket having four perimeter sides wherein the cushion assembly is attached to the blanket using hook and loop fasteners. The blanket additionally includes cloth loops to hold toys for a baby. A storage compartment is also provided to hold a bottle when feeding a baby.

At least a section of one of the fabric layers defining a flap configured to engage with a corresponding section of the duvet cover and cover the opening via fastening elements. At least some of the fastening elements can be color-coded to identify the size of the bed for which the duvet cover is to cover. One of the fabric layers and the fill layer can include fastening elements that engage one another to secure the fill layer in position within the cover assembly. The duvet cover hides the appearance of the fill layer in the pocket and covers the opening through which the fill layer is received.

Abstract: Wraps for swaddling babies are provided that include a body having a base side. The wrap can further include two arms that are attached to the base side of the body of the wrap. Abstract: The present invention relates to a fabric arrangement and pillow designed to prevent skin lines and wrinkle formation while improving sleep using combinations of fabrics, cooling technologies and scents. The present invention is designed with a specific fabric and materials combination that create a surface in which the shear stresses causing skin lines and wrinkles are eliminated. Multiple layers make up the fabric arrangement include a top layer comprising a stretchable material and a second layer comprising a low friction material relative to the first layer. Supporting the first two layer is a support layer such as foam. Lower layers may comprise a cooling material, an antimicrobial or anti-allergenic material and a scent layer.

Covers with slick surfaces are selectively placed in engagement with each other between the mattress and the box spring or platform . One cover is provided with a slick and non-slick surface. The other cover may be the same as the first cover or may have slick surfaces on two sides. In an alternate embodiment of the invention, one cover may is a protective cover that encapsulates the entire mattress. In another alternate embodiment, one cover cooperates with a slick surface that is integrally provided on one or the other of the mattress or box spring or platform. In yet another alternate embodiment of the invention, slick surfaces are provided on both the mattress and the box spring or platform. The mattress is secured relative to the box spring or platform by removable fasteners in a normal mode of operation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide covers for bed components, such as mattresses and/or box-springs, which limit bed bug access to the bed component. According to one embodiment, a cover for a bed component may include an opening that provides access to an interior of the cover and through which a bed component (e.g., a mattress or box-spring) may be inserted, a zipper coupled along the opening, a zipper mechanism slidable along the zipper to couple opposing teeth of the zipper to allow the opening to be zipped closed to enclose the bed component within the cover, a first flap foldable and securable over a distal end of the zipper, a second flap foldable and securable over the first flap, and a barrier material disposed between the second flap and the zipper for applying pressure to the zipper to minimize a gap between the zipper and the first flap.

Abstract: A bedding product having a colored hem and methods of making the same are disclosed. The bedding product can have a plain body attached to a colored hem which is made color fast so as to inhibit fading of the colored hem and/or prevent bleeding, crocking, and/or running of color from the colored hem onto the plain body during the useful life of the bedding product. The colored hem can be made color fast by a method including selecting a fabric, selecting dyes based on the fabric, preparing the fabric such as by mercerizing, applying the dyes, and treating the dyed fabric to remove unfixed dyes contained in the fabric to improve subsequent colorfastness.

Abstract: A bed accessory, for use with a bed having a mattress and a base for the mattress, includes a bed cover retainer having a first portion adapted to fit between the mattress and the base for the mattress. The first portion defines a wedge that is configured to produce a separation force between the mattress and base to hold the retainer in position. The first portion may further define a bed-cover-engaging member, such as a high-friction surface, to hold the bed cover in position. A sleeper attendant may be supported at a second portion. Abstract: A fitted blanket fits over a mattress and secures underneath to prevent the blanket from moving off the user while sleeping in bed. The blanket can include an elastic material on at least the underside corner edges thereof. Children and adults alike can stay warm at night as their blankets cannot fall away or off of them while sleeping. The fitted blanket may further include an opening and closing mechanism to allow for easy entry and exit, rather than having to untuck the blanket, as is the case with conventional blankets. The opening and closing mechanism may also provide an easy way to make the bed. The fitted nature of the blanket prevents blanket slippage or movement. The blanket may further include a cut-out region for pillow placement. The blanket can also include glow-in-the-dark elements or illuminated elements to light up the blanket at night.

Abstract: A bed dressing and set includes several articles of bed linens or bed clothing. A top sheet includes a plurality of apertures configured to accept at least one fastener along ends of a bottom sheet. The bottom sheet includes straps which extend from a substantially central portion along foot and head ends to engage with multiple sidewall points to secure the bottom sheet in place on top of a mattress. Together, the bottom sheet and top sheet substantially eliminate the possibility of bed clothing moving out of a stable position when the bed is in use, creating an adjustable personal fit for the bed occupant to improve sleep quality and comfort.

Abstract: A mattress cover is disclosed for redirecting shear on a patient's skin away from the areas of the body relatively more likely to develop decubitus ulcers. The mattress cover includes an upper portion designed to cover the topside of a mattress, and at least one shear transfer zone attached to an underside of the upper portion of the mattress cover. The shear transfer zone(s) may be made of a low shear material so as to create a low friction interface between the mattress and the mattress cover to reduce shear forces exerted by the mattress. Additionally, the shear transfer zone(s) may be arranged such that a large portion of the shear forces exerted by the mattress can be redirected to areas of the body that are relatively less likely to develop decubitus ulcers.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a bedding cover that allows for the easy and rapid insertion of a blanket or duvet and an easy, rapid method of making a bed using such a bedding cover. The bedding cover is durable with a type of closure that does not reduce the longevity of or damage the bedding cover despite multiple launderings. A kit containing a container and the disclosed improved bedding cover; and optionally, at least one of: a mattress sheet or bottom sheet; a pillow case; a dust ruffle; and a blanket or a duvet.

Abstract: A scarf hides the upper portion of a made bed from view. The scarf includes a portion of material having a length and a width, opposite first and second ends and opposite top and bottom edges. The length of the scarf is sufficient to cover pillows placed on a made bed of standard size, with the opposite first and second ends reaching opposite first and second edges of the bed. The width of the scarf is sufficient so that its top edge hides the top edge of a pillow on the made bed, and the bottom edge hides the bottom edge of the pillow on the made bed. The scarf may be used to cover up the top edge of a bed sheet, blanket or bedspread on a made bed so as to hide said top edge of the bed sheet, blanket or bedspread.
