Abstract: Disclosed is an infant lap support comprising an infant support panel having a first edge and a second edge, a leg attachment member having two or more attachment points, wherein a first attachment point is attached to the first edge of the infant support panel and wherein a second attachment point is attached to a first fastener, and a second fastener attached to a second edge of the infant support panel, wherein the first fastener and the second fastener are configured to be selectively fastened to each other around the legs of a user.

Abstract: A baby supporting device is provided which includes a frame. The frame includes a first portion for mounting onto a wall and a second portion pivotally coupled to the first portion and rotatable between a first position and a second position. A first stop member extends from the first portion, and a second stop member extends from the second portion, such that when the second stop member engages the first stop member it stops the second portion at the second position. A first surface covers at least a portion of the first portion, and a second surface covers at least a portion of the second portion.

Abstract: This invention is a pillow placed on the lap for supporting a baby while feeding. The pillow raises the baby on an inclined plane, with ridges on the lower and upper outer edges for added safety and stability, and has a curved, yet light and compact body to fit comfortably in front of the caregiver's torso. If breast feeding, the mother lifts the baby and turns the pillow over vertically to feed on the other breast. For the lengthy and repetitive task of feeding an infant, the pillow securely supports and elevates the baby; this benefits both the baby, by reducing acid reflux, and the caregiver, by decreasing stress on the arms and back as well as presenting the option to be hands-free.

Abstract: An infant feeding and support pillow has a pillow cover and filling material disposed within the pillow cover. The pillow cover has a longitudinal base portion with a first end region, a middle region, and a second end region. A first end arm with a distal end extends transversely from the first end region of the longitudinal base portion. At least one middle arm with a distal end extends transversely from the middle region of the longitudinal base portion. A second end arm with a distal end extends transversely from the second end region of the longitudinal base portion. The first end arm, the longitudinal base portion, and the middle arm define a first opening configured to hold a first infant. The middle arm, the longitudinal base portion, and the second end arm define a second opening configured to hold a second infant.

Abstract: An adjustable pad that can have a substantially level top regardless of the slope or configuration of the surface it is placed upon. The adjustable pad can have a sheet coupled with one or more support members. The support members can be formed or adjusted to account for the slope of the surface. The adjustable pad can be used to change a child's diaper, as a sleeping pad, or for other desired reasons, regardless of the configuration of the surface.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile feeding table providing varied inclination angles to facilitate the secured feeding of one or more infants and providing ease of use for a parent or caregiver. The invention provides a moveable base frame, a body support frame supporting an infant and providing a variably inclined surface, and a sliding drawer supporting the support frame that promotes ease of use for a parent or caregiver when, for example, in a seated position.

Abstract: An encounter and contact mattress or pillow, is made up of at least one cloth-like or blanket-like base body having two functional sides that are configured to be the same, similar, or different, and serve for support, wherein the one side is suitable for facing toward a contact person and the other side is suitable for offering a premature or newborn baby or infant a support surface. The base body is divided up into at least three regions, namely into an edge zone region (8), a transition region (6), and an encounter region (5), and the encounter region (5) is configured in such a manner that a transfer of tactile and/or acoustic stimuli and/or heat from one side to the other side of the encounter and contact mattress (1) is possible.

Abstract: An adjustable incubator/crib infant positioning blanket for holding a premature baby securely in an incubator. The blanket includes a pouch to securely hold the baby with its head in an upright position on an inclined plane such as a raised mattress and the blanket is secured to the mattress by a strap. The pouch securely prevents the baby from rolling or sliding toward the bottom of the inclined mattress.

Abstract: An infant swaddle blanket that includes a torso wrap section with wings and a leg pouch for the infant's legs. The torso wrap section is designed to wrap around the infant's torso for swaddling. The swaddle includes various hook and loop fasteners which facilitates swaddling and makes the swaddle easier to use, as well as making the swaddle safer to use by providing a more secure, adjustable fit. External hold-down straps augment hook and loop closures on the wings. The leg pouch permits the infant's diaper to be changed without unwrapping the torso wrap section, thereby facilitating diaper changes.

Abstract: An inflatable device for infants, the device comprising a structure formed from two or more inflatable chambers in fluid communication with a control valve, wherein the control valve comprises a single input port for receiving an inflation device and an output port unit in fluid communication with the inflatable chambers to enable the chambers to be inflated simultaneously by the inflation device while providing fluid separation between the chambers after inflation.

Abstract: A baby change mat has a rectangular base mat, and pockets attached to a side of the base mat. The base mat has a non-slip fastening belt for fastening the base mat to a change table. The base mat provides a first work surface for changing a baby. The pocket provides storage space for storing items needed for changing the baby. A cover is detachably attached to the base mat for providing a second work surface. A flap is detachably attached to a side of the rectangular base mat. The flap can be folded on top of the base mat or the cover for providing a third work surface. The baby change mat can be rolled up and held in the rolled up configuration with an elastic closure loop. A carrying handle facilitates attaching the rolled up baby change mat to a support such as a baby stroller.

Abstract: An inflatable child containment assembly generally in the form of a play pen type structure capable of multiple uses including a contained play area, a resting or sleeping space, a splash pool, a wash basin, and a support platform for changing a child. A wall assembly has sufficient structural integrity when inflated to assume either a first operative or upright position or a second operative, inverted position, depending on the intended use. A plurality of interconnected wall sections define the wall assembly and are collectively disposed in a closed, continuous configuration to form an interior child containment area having a closure assembly covering one end thereof. An inflatable base may serve as a cushion when removably disposed within the containment area. When in the deflated and collapsed orientation, the containment assembly may be easily carried by an individual utilizing an appropriate pouch or bag.

Abstract: A pillow is provided for the treatment of deformational plagiocephaly. The pillow may have arms which define a void with varying diameters to facilitate holding an infant's head to cause reshaping of the posterior of the skull. An anchoring mechanism may also be included to hold the pillow in place. A webbing may also be used between the arms to encourage the arms to remain against the infant's head and/or to engage a surface on which the pillow rests and limit sliding or the pillow or the infant's head.

The sleeping enclosure is a soft pillow-like structure that is further defined by retaining walls such that an infant rests within and is incapable of rolling out of the sleeping cushion. The sleeping cushion rests and secures atop a mattress via at least one adjustable strap, which in conjunction with the sleeping cushion encircles said mattress. The dome shaped net rests atop the retaining walls and prevents objects from falling upon an infant contained within the enclosure.

Abstract: A diaper changing device to mount to an infant car seat includes a cover having a first side, a second side, a plurality of individualized compartments spaced along a length of the cover and folding sections positioned between adjacent ones of the plurality of individualized compartments. The diaper changing device further includes a plurality of support members positioned within the individualized compartments and a plurality of fasteners attached to the cover. The plurality of fasteners are shaped to engage a lip formed on an edge of the infant car seat to secure the cover to the infant car seat in a position suspended over an interior region of the infant car seat with the second side of the cover facing the interior region and the first side of the cover facing outward.

Abstract: A rigid fabric covered foam back panel attaches to a back of an infant by straps wrapped around the infant and secured together in front or to a front panel. The back panel is wider than the body of the infant and extends down the full length of the torso to prevent the infant from rolling over from a prone position and thereby encourage the infant to crawl. A chest and belly pad is attached to a front of the infant to encourage the use of legs as well as arms in crawling. Arm and knee pads provide friction to enhance crawling.

Hook and loop fasteners are used to secure the arm restraints, and the bottom of the leg pouch has an opening for easy access for diaper changes.

A sleeping garment integrated into the top fabric layer has a pair of garment halves removably coupleable to each other via a zipper that zips up into a fastener pocket that covers the zipper when the garment is fully closed. A flap can extend from one half of the garment, over the fastener pocket and fasten to the opposite half of the garment to inhibit the user from unzipping and removing the garment. The garment can hold a lower portion of the user within said pocket, allowing the user to remain warm without the use of a separate blanket, while being able to sit or stand on the mattress.

Abstract: The portable diaper changing pad device provides a fully pliable pad that may be used on virtually any surface. The pliability of the pad is also advantageous for compact portability. Straps extended from each pad end are used to wrap around a given surface, such as an existing changing table for example, to removably secure the pad thereto. The pillow is made into the pad. Two restraint loops are provided proximal to the pillow for looping around an infant' shoulders. The connecting strap with adjustable buckle removably secures the loops together so that a baby is restrained. The carry bag is especially useful for compact carry of the pad, and importantly features attachment means for removable attachment to the pad, when the pad is in use, so that the pad and carry bag are not inadvertently separated, with neither being easily accidentally forgotten.

Abstract: The present invention is a simple, adaptable orthotic device that can correct and/or prevent deformational posterior plagiocephaly, especially if used before the infant is 4 months of age. The manufactured article provides an anatomically correcting, adjustable, concave-shaped resting surface for an infant's head in a manner that effectively eliminates uneven pressure on the infant's occiput. The orthotic device has a modular design which permits easy adjustments of the devices' head cavity to accommodate differences in individual infant head size and shape, thereby providing the infant's head with a custom fit. Also, as the infant continues to grow in size, the adjustable head cavity and torso recess features of the orthotic device allow the contoured spatial volume and dimensions of the molded supporting surfaces to expand as the infant's calvaria grow; and thereby facilitate a progressive, normalization and rounding of the infant's occiput.

Abstract: A sleeper apparatus for holding an infant designed to simulate the feeling of being held in a caregiver's arms is herein disclosed. The sleeper is similar in shape to that of a canoe and is able to accommodate most infants via a removable insert section. The insert may be added or removed, depending on the size of the infant. The sleeper is made using padded foam materials and comprises an air bladder located along an inside wall of a perimeter enclosure. The bladder is connected to a DC-powered air pump, which pumps air in and out of the bladder to simulate human breathing. The inner space of the sleeper is contoured to conform to the babies shape. The head area is larger with minimal padding to provide for unobstructed and clear breathing. The foot area is slightly declined and would be provided with additional padding. The sleeper provides a comforting and secure resting place for infants.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a sleeping restraint for a child that can be used to secure the child to the chest of an adult who is in a substantially horizontal position as well as to methods of using a sleeping restraint. In certain embodiments, the sleeping restraint comprises a chest strap for encircling the chest of an adult, first and second child restraining walls extending from the chest strap, and a restraining strap attached to the first child restraining wall for restraining a child in place on the adult's chest between the walls when the adult is lying on his back.
