Abstract: A system for releasably securing a platform in a raised position is disclosed. A track is provided. An arm is connected at a first end to the platform. A second end, with a lug, is biased toward a side portion of the track. The lug is configured to ride in the track. As the platform is raised, the lug rides upward and enters the top portion and clears a first vertical wall, whereupon the lug rests in the depression and thus supports the platform in the raised position. As the platform is raised further, the lug clears a second vertical wall, whereupon the lug can ride downward in the side portion and through a bottom portion, past a door and out an open end of the bottom portion.

Abstract: A convertible furniture system or futon includes a convertible frame assembly that is mountable in an interior space and is deployable between a bench configuration and a flat, bed configuration. The frame assembly includes a back frame and a bottom frame that are pivotably coupled together and coordinate to form either the bench configuration that provides a user an upright seat or the bed configuration that provides the user a flat, substantially horizontal bed to lie down on. A user can maneuver the system from the bench configuration into the bed configuration and vice versa. The system may be installed inside of various interior living quarters, including inside of mobile vehicles. The system includes various support elements mounted to the interior space, the support element may be selectively engaged to support the system in the bed or bench configurations and during deployment and stowage of the system.

Abstract: A vehicle passenger cabin has a holding structure having multiple load introduction points, a multiplicity of support structure parts to be attached to the load introduction points, a lower base for delimiting a lower passenger deck, and a multiplicity of furnishing components to be fastened to the support structure parts. The holding structure has laterally on both sides one floor overhang as a lower delimitation of an upper passenger deck, extending from a laterally outer region of the holding structure radially inwards and at a distance vertically from the lower base. The structure parts are at least regionally curved or bent and are connected at an upper end and at a lower end to an upper and a lower load introduction points, respectively. The structure parts have a first receiving surface for receiving one of the furnishing components, which first receiving surface adjoins the floor overhang radially on the inside.

Abstract: A bed lift includes a bed support mechanism used to hold a bed in a raised position. The bed support mechanism includes a catch mechanism and a release mechanism. The release mechanism is configured to move the catch mechanism between an engaged position where the catch mechanism holds the bed in the raised position and a disengaged position where the catch mechanism does not hold the bed in the raised position.

Abstract: A reversible spring assembly is coupled to a bed frame and capable of being inverted from a first position to a second position without detaching the assembly from the bed frame. In one embodiment, the spring assembly includes top and bottom springs arranged in rows within a frame with one or more rigid support bars disposed between the rows of springs. If the user wishes to adjust the position of the assembly in the bed frame (e.g., to create a loft-style configuration), the user need only invert the bed such that the assembly previously positioned at in a right-side-up position at the bottom of the frame is positioned in an inverted position at the top of the frame.

Abstract: This invention is a unique and novel shipping frame for nursery plants, that is made from a water-resistant recycled paper composite material. The frame allows for supporting one or more shelves and is attached to a base. The one or more shelves and base are capable of holding the plants during shipment to insure the plants are not damaged. After shipment is completed, the frame may be reused or disposed of accordingly.

A transition box is operatively engagable with one of the first and second height adjustment mechanisms. The transition box is positioned within the external housing such that the transition box is substantially inhibited from rotation during height adjustment of the bed system. Abstract: A rollover safety system for truck cab sleeper berths and other sleeper berths in moving vehicles. The system includes a rollover sensor which generates a signal in response to a rollover condition. The signal is used by a controller to tension a tether which is attached to a load bearing harness worn by a sleeper berth occupant. The tether is tensioned to prevent the occupant from injuriously contacting the roof and or walls of the berth The system moves the occupant away from the potentially injurious surfaces while allowing freedom of movement when there is no crash.

A bracket with quick-release coupler is provided at each of the two spaced locations on the side of one rail of the first bed, and a bracket with a mating quick-release coupler is provided on the end of each rail of the second bed for perpendicular connection of the rails of the second bed to the one rail of the first bed. Each support includes a wedged slot mounted thereon for cooperation with the post and includes a screw hole fixed below the wedged slot. The post is used to fix a plate member. Each post includes a wedged tenon extending from an end portion thereof and includes a positioning piece secured below the wedged tenon and having an elongated bore. The post is inserted relative to the wedged slot by using the wedged tenon to align the elongated bore with the screw hole automatically. A screw is inserted through the elongated bore and into the screw hole to fix the post and the support together.

Abstract: Disclosed is a lining framework for fastening seats in an aircraft. The lining framework preferably comprises three seat rails, which are arranged in a spaced apart manner parallel to each other along both side walls of the fuselage cell. Sitting surfaces of a plurality of seats are suspended on the seat rails by textile straps consisting of high-strength, woven plastic material. At least two straps are arranged between the upper seat rail and two frames of the fuselage cell of the aircraft. In this case, a strap length is measured so that forces from the fuselage cell cannot be transmitted into the lining framework. By the same token, however, forces from the lining framework can be introduced into the fuselage cell by means of the straps so that the lining framework can be designed statically lighter. This leads to a weight reduction of the lining framework.

Each portion includes a connector member defining a roller guide channel, each channel extending substantially between respective upstanding posts of the head and foot portions. An upper bed frame includes opposed end rails with opposed side rails extending therebetween. Movement of the roller and pins in the channels enables movement of the bed frame between a sleep configuration and selectable folded out configurations.
