Other solid cast fabric softener compositions in the invention have a reducing agent for reducing any remaining hypochlorite bleach. The compositions are substantially clear and isotropic, provide excellent cleaning of soils and provide softening through the wash and anti-static benefits. The compositions preferably also contain an ethoxylated nonionic surfactant, a detergent builder and enzymes.
