Adjustable Pedestal Patents (Class 52/126.6)
  • Patent number: 9315999
Abstract: An improved solar panel attachment system for a roof and method for its use include a pedestal that has a plurality of protrusions and keyways located along its bottom wall surface and extending along the length of the pedestal. The pedestal is placed into a paddy of foam adhesive laid along a roof underlayment and the keyways receive and engage with the expanding adhesive for bonding the pedestal directly to the roof without the need for mechanical fastening. The protrusions provide spacing between the bottom wall surface and the roof so that an adequate amount of foam adhesive resides between these wall surfaces and those structures. Attaching means are secured to the top wall surface so that the pedestal may be used to securely mount (or secure) a solar panel or other object to a roof.

Abstract: An adjustment system for connections between metal structures which consists of two plates. The adjustment system comprises a first plate (1) provided with four radial slits (4), where one part of the structure to be connected can be joined, and a second plate provided with four circular slits (5) where another part of the structure to be connected can be joined. Joining screw pins (3) pass through the radial slits in plate (1) and through the circular slits in plate (2) in order to join the two parts by means of the corresponding nuts (6) which tighten the said plates together. The adjustment system makes it possible to adjust the position of the two plates (1 and 2) with respect to their movement on axes X, Y and Z.

Abstract: The present invention is a modular deck system with height adjustable leg assemblies. The deck modules each have a top panel, a support frame, and a leg receptacle. The leg assemblies include a base foot, an adjustment bolt and a leg bracket with four legs extending perpendicularly from a bracket plate. A height adjustment bolt is fixed to the base of the leg assembly and extends perpendicularly from the base through an aperture in the bracket plate. The deck modules are placed adjacent to each other, side-by-side and end-to-end in the desired layout, then secured with the leg assemblies. Leveling of the deck modules is achieved through rotation of the adjustment bolts.

  • Patent number: 8429860
Abstract: A support structure for elevating a building surface above a fixed surface and having stability bracing to provide increased stability to the elevated building surface assembly. The support structure includes a plurality of support pedestals that are disposed in spaced-apart relation on a fixed surface. Stabilizing braces are attached to the central section of adjacent support pedestals to interconnect the support pedestals. The stabilizing braces may attach to the support pedestals using anchoring members that are anchored to the support pedestals. Interconnecting the support pedestals in such a manner creates a stable elevated building surface assembly that can be utilized in unstable environments, such as seismically active geographic areas. The support pedestals can be adjustable-height support pedestals.

  • Patent number: 8397442
Abstract: An adjustable concrete pier includes a concrete block having a central aperture extending from a top surface of the block to a bottom surface of the block. The pier includes a plate disposed at the top end of the concrete block, the plate having a hole aligned with the central aperture. An internal reinforcement framework is affixed to the plate and embedded within the concrete block. The central aperture receives a threaded rod to which is affixed a nut larger than the central aperture. A suitable support member, e.g. flat plate, U-shaped channel, etc., is disposed at the upper end of the rod. The internal reinforcement makes the pier much stronger as the load bears on the plate and internal reinforcement. Because the threaded rod is not embedded within the concrete, it can be replaced. This novel design also permits greater vertical adjustability.
