Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for supporting a manufactured home (1) having at least a first and second support joist (14a, 14b) for mounting horizontally on at least a first and second vertical support structure (9a, 9b). Each vertical support structure (9a, 9b) comprises an upright support pier (16a, 16b) with a support platform (12a, 12b) positioned beneath the support pier (16a, 16b) and adjacent the ground (13). A stabilization pad (30a, 30b) is positioned between the support pier (16a, 16b) and the support platform (12a, 12b). The stabilization pad (30a, 30b) can include a link (60a) and a clamping lip (36) from which a lateral compression member (20) can extend as positioned between the pair of stabilization pads (30a, 30b).

Abstract: A concrete form suspension system has a form support projecting laterally from an upper portion of a vertically displaceable support structure and a hydraulic jack operable to raise the support structure along a vertically extending concrete structure. A support device can be secured to the concrete structure for supporting the jack and support brackets can be secured to the concrete structure for supporting the raised support structure from the concrete structure. By operation of the jack, the support structure can climb the concrete structure to allow concrete forms suspended from the form support to be located in position for use in upwardly extending the concrete structure.

Abstract: Side struts (68) are positioned on ground anchors (40, 42) at intervals along the lower side edges of a manufactured home (10). The side struts spread the “footprint” of support from the ground to the manufactured home, so as to decrease the likelihood of tilting, the manufactured home in response to wind and other lateral forces.

Abstract: Flooring systems including a metal raised access flooring panel (10) that is solid or is perforated by oval or oblong openings having major axes not parallel to any panel edge. The major slot axes may, for instance, be at a 45° angle to each panel edge. The slots (28) may be arranged in “clusters” of six slots, with one pair of slots above another pair and one slot to each side of, and mid-way above and below, the stacked pairs. Alternatively, the panels (10) may be perforated by circular holes arranged in a similar pattern. Adjacent panels may be interlocked with retractable pins extending from one panel (10) to another. Pedestal heads and stringers are adapted to accommodate panels of different sizes.

Abstract: Upper and lower tubular components of the support members are in threaded engagement for beam support. Retainer cups secure the support member in place while a lock seats about the upper and lower components to prevent rotation after installation. An opening in the upper tubular component permits charging of the support member with concrete or other reinforcing agent.

Abstract: A multifunctional building for providing accomodation to events, said building comprising a sports field (1) for an outdoor sport, whereby at least part of the sports field is provided in a container (4) which can be moved in vertical direction, in such a manner that in raised condition said container forms the roof of a space which can be utilized for indoor activities. The sports field may be a grass field which comprises sports facilities fixedly provided thereon. Stands (6) may be present outside the sports field, which stands can be moved to a position under the container when the container occupies a raised position. Roofed-in stands may furthermore be present, the roof of said stands abutting the container when said container occupies a raised position.
