Abstract: Vehicle load box rail trim brackets, including a rail trim bracket comprised of a housing that is attached to a trim piece, a clamp that engages a load box rail; and a cam disposed between the housing and clamp. The housing, clamp, and cam are configured such that the clamp substantially rotates about the cam, the cam creating a metastable fulcrum point where forces between the housing, clamp, and cam are at a maximum. Rotating the clamp past the fulcrum point causes the clamp to engage the housing. The cam keeps the clamp in tension against the load box rail and in compression against the housing so as to secure the trim to the load box rail. The housing, clamp, and cam are preferably manufactured from glass-reinforced plastic.

Abstract: This invention describes a method of building structures including electronic and medical working buildings and vessels from large to microscopic using pre-fabricated interdependent panels having internal framing and slotted attachment features for ease of assembly. Compared to prior art, this novel method allows creation of vertically supported horizontal and vertical planar structures that require minimal or no fasteners by using internally framed cross slotted, interlocking, intersecting and interdependent constituent panels. Key advantages and novel applications over prior art construction methods are discussed including but not limited to art structures lower cost, green energy applications, corrective foundational alignment and use in furniture, electronic, and medical and electronic components, vessel fabrication and wherever Art structure internal frame is cost effective.

  • Patent number: 8646231
Abstract: The connection between two partitions of offices is assured by a post of angle and a spacer. The section of the post of angle contains a circular part and a neighboring part in the shape of dovetail. The spacer is a profile, a section of which corresponds to a truncated triangle. The base and the extremities of the sides of the spacer contact the circular part of the post of angle. This contact assures of one part the alignment of both profiles and on the other hand a finish of joint whatever is the angle between partitions. The fixation of an element of partition such as one profile (22) or a facing in the U profile is assured by an intermediate profile snapped up at the bottom of U of the U profile. The fixation of a profile in a U profile is realized by insertion of the extremity of the profile in the hollow of U followed by a rotation of a quarter of tour of the profile around its main axis to clamp its extremity in the U.

Abstract: The present application is directed towards systems and methods for building a living space during construction of a multi-unit housing structure. In particular, the present application describes various embodiments of prefabricated building modules that may be built and equipped with plumbing, HVAC and/or electrical fixtures prior to installation in a multi-unit housing structure. Because modules may be configured prior to installation in a housing structure, the use of prefabricated building modules may increase efficiency of construction and provide enhanced customization over other non-configurable building units.
