  • Patent number: 4928467
Abstract: A wall panel hanging system according to the present invention comprises a top hanging track horizontally secured to a wall adjacent the junction of the wall and ceiling which cooperates with clips attached to a panel and by means of which the panel is hung from the top hanging track. The top hanging track has a forwardly facing shank receiving portion at the upper edge thereof and a forwardly extending shoulder therebelow. The track further includes a flange area for receiving fasteners and by means of which the track is secured to a wall. Each clip includes a top shank sized for close reception in said shank receiving portion and a clip shoulder spaced below said top shank and cooperating with said forwardly extending shoulder when the shank is received in said top hanging track. The cooperating shoulders effect positioning of the clip in the track such that the clip shoulder is above and in support engagement with the forwardly facing shoulder of the top hanging track.

  • Patent number: 4543755
Abstract: This invention relates to a curtainwall system having panels mounted on a grid formed of vertical and horizontal mullions having a planar or flat exterior surface. Each of the panels is provided with a frame formed of hanger sections having a groove facing the interior of the frame. A panel engaging clip has one end inserted in the groove of the hanger frame and the other portion of the clip secured to the grid. The clip urges the hanger against the weatherstripping of the grid to provide an air and dust tight seal. A polyurethane block is mounted in the space between adjacent panels and thereafter a silicone is extruded into the space.

  • Patent number: 4505611
Abstract: An upholstery fixing device consists of a bracket having a holdfast suspended therefrom with bendable or flexible straps. In use the bracket is riveted to the back of a trim board, and the holdfast is pushed into an associated aperture of an inside panel of a car door. Then, the bendable straps can be yieldingly bent to automatically reduce any misalignment between a fixed bracket (and hence its holdfast) and an associated aperture of the inside panel of the car door, thus facilitating the fixing of the upholstery to the inside panel of the car door in exact registration.
