Abstract: Flooring panel or wall panel and a use thereof in a wet room. The panel is provided with locking elements in the form of groove (6) and tongue (7) forming a tongue/groove joint for assembling of the panels. The groove (6) and the tongue (7) are made of water tight material and formed with a snap-together joint.
Abstract: An improved waterproofing system for concrete slab of a flat roof on a building is disclosed. The invention concerns a construction method for installing on the concrete substrate a waterproofing layer comprising hollow plastic panels of designed size, different thickness, and the groove and the tongue joint, and installing a supplementary waterproofing layer using sheet membrane materials such as asphalt sheet, metal sheet and other sheets on the vertical surface, especially the parapet of roof. The invention further concerns a construction method for applying fluid-applied materials after reinforcement with fiber mesh on their joint line to connect plastic panels on substrate with sheet membrane layer on the vertical surface. The waterproofing layer of sloped step type, hollow plastic panels of different thickness permits fast drainage of stagnant water, which inhibits weather damage to the waterproofing layer.

Abstract: A construction block has improved thermal insulation qualities and reduces or outright eliminates the effects of a seam failure. The construction block is comprised of a pair of generally parallel faces joined by a plurality of sides. A desiccant or insulation gas, or both are disposed within the interior chamber of the block. At least one baffle is disposed within the interior chamber.
Abstract: Right rectangular parallelepiped construction modules including a system of latitudinal tangs and grooves and inner and outer shoulders which cooperate to interlock stacked or staggered construction modules. The construction modules can also include reliefs in their tops, sides and bottoms for receiving rebar supports, electrical lines, plumbing lines, or other means.
Abstract: A modular system that includes a plurality of modular elements that can be coupled together in a hidden manner with respect to the visible side. The modules are formed as areal, frame-like or three-dimensional shaped parts and are freely combinable with one another. At least substantially flat modular elements or flat modular element regions have a plurality of mutually spaced apart coupling and fixing members that project beyond a boundary edge of the module. Insert grooves are provided at a rear side of the module for the shape-locked and force-transmitting reception of coupling and fixing members of adjacent modules.

Abstract: The building block is provided. The block is substantially rectangular and has opposed first and second ends. First and second substantially congruent rectangular panels extend between the ends and are joined together by at least one web. Each panel has vertical end edges that are notched to fit with the end edges of another such block. The notches are disposed selectively on inside or outside corners of the respective blocks to enable adjacent blocks to interfit in a vertical joint.
Abstract: A wall member with a first side having a tongue extending therefrom, a second side having a headed tongue extending therefrom, a third side having a groove defined therein for receiving a tongue of an adjacent panel, and a fourth side having a groove and cavity defined therein for slide-lock receiving of a headed tongue of an adjacent panel. The wall member may have a surface with a recess defined therein, and ribs extending from the recess. Also, the wall member may have a generally square, trapezoidal, hexagonal, or octagonal planar shape. Apertures may be defined in the tongue and grooves for aligning and receiving a dowel to lock panels together. A first corner section is defined by longitudinally extending the profile of the tongue through the profile of the headed tongue. A second corner section is defined by longitudinally extending the profile of the third side groove through the profile of the headed tongue.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for making a building board 2, exhibiting a board body S which is formed with a gripping stud 24, and a metal strip 10 which extends from the body S and from which are formed gripping elements 26, 28 which are bent round the gripping stud 24 for mechanical fastening of the strip 10 TO the body S, as well as locking element 12 for enabling mechanical joining of the board 2 to similar boards. The method is characterized by preforming the gripping elements 26, 28 of the strip 10 prior to bending them round the gripping stud 24, and subsequently bending the preformed gripping elements 26, 28 round the gripping stud 24, the preforming being such that, as a result of the bending, the preformed gripping elements 26, 28 strike against the gripping stud 24 and thereby undergo a deformation in the opposite direction to the preforming during a final stage of the bending.
Abstract: A durable, modular, adaptive containment system, which has a composite composition comprised of wood fibers embedded in a polymeric matrix, the system being suitable for holding soil and plants, and which is comprised of rails, preferably of rectangular cross-section, each of said rails being joined by means of a T-shaped tenon along one of its ends and a complementary T-shaped channel on the side of the rail near its other end, or which is comprised of a connector having T-shaped channels so that when four rails, each of which has a T-shaped tenon on each end, pairs of which are of equal length, are joined by inserting the T-shaped tenons of each rail into a complementary T-shaped channel on a connector, a rectangular containment system is formed.

Abstract: An aesthetic pool enclosure of modular design includes cover members that hide from view various utilitarian structural components such as bolts, screws, rubber splines for holding screens, and the like. The structure is made of extruded posts and beams and interlocking members for interlocking the posts and beams to one another to reduce the number of fasteners needed and to provide enhanced strength of the finished assembly. The extruded pieces include corner posts for ninety and sixty degree corners, doorjambs, bottom door sweeps, and other specialized parts for completing the assembly. Many of the parts are snap fit to one another to further reduce the number of fasteners required to assemble the enclosure and to facilitate the construction process.
