    Abstract: A universal inside corner patch for patching inside corners formed by protrusions from a commercial low slope roof is disclosed. The universal inside corner patch includes a body having a central portion and a peripheral portion. A cutout is formed in the body extending from the peripheral portion to the central portion thereof. The cutout defines in the body a skirt having an edge on one side of the cutout and a flap having an edge on an opposite side of the cutout. Folding locations such as lines or other indicia on the body correspond to respective angles of an inside corner to be patched. When the skirt portion is overlapped with the flap portion with the edge of the skirt portion registering with one of the folding locations, the inside corner patch is configured to conform to an inside corner with an angle corresponding to the one of the folding locations. An adhesive may be disposed on a back surface of the body for adhering and sealing the corner patch in place.

    Abstract: A gasket for use on a drip edge flashing and a fascia board on a roof overhang is provided. The gasket is mounted intermediate the fascia of the sidewalls of a structure and the drip edge flashing which overhangs a portion of the perimeter of the roof. The drip edge flashing has a u-shaped element which is adapted to receive a bracket which is attached to the gasket. The gasket may also be affixed to the fascia board by an adhesive. The gasket prevents ice, water and humidity from entering any of the sub-roof structure, which inhibits rot, molds or insect infestation. The gasket may be placed on new structures or retrofit. In the retrofit embodiment, a support flashing with a u-shaped element is interfit between the drip edge flashing and the gasket. In this case the u-shaped element on the support flashing receives the gasket bracket therein.

    Abstract: A method, system and apparatus are disclosed regarding an attachment system for solar equipment, sometimes referred to as a flashing device allowing quick and easy assembling of the solar equipment into an array or other combination in a sturdy and durable manner. In examples of the present technology, a flashing device may include a flashing plate which may contain one or more raised features to further direct and control the flow of liquid over the flashing plate. The flashing device may also contain a fluid restrictor such as a seal or part of a seal usually held within an aperture of a block having a skyward facing essentially or substantially flat surface. One or more various items of solar equipment may be attached to the essentially flat surface of the block. Also disclosed are adjustable mounting feet which may be installed in connection with other solar equipment.

    Abstract: A securement system for a roof or window panel includes a first side structure which can secure and seal a first side of the roof or window panel and can include a first side structure panel having an outer side flange for integrating or interfacing with roofing or siding which can include insertion thereunder. A raised cricket can extend laterally inwardly from the outer side flange for directing water away from the first side of the roof or window panel. An engagement ridge can extend along or from an inner edge of the cricket for engaging a retention structure extending along the first side of the roof or window panel. An open polygonal channel cap can have an outer edge for engaging at least one of the engagement ridge of the first side panel cricket and the retention structure, and an inner edge for engaging the roof or window panel. The cap can be capable of being resiliently snapped in place and provide water proofing and rigidity to the first side structure.

    Abstract: A roof attachment flashing system for preventing water penetration when utilizing an L-foot to attach a structure to a roof. The roof attachment flashing system generally includes a flashing member which is adapted to be utilized to seal penetrations of a roof which are necessitated by the installation of an L-foot for securing a roof attachment such as solar panels to the roof. The flashing member includes a receiver member at its first end which includes a raised portion defining a slot on its lower surface that will sealably cover the horizontal portion of the L-foot. A mounting bracket extends upwardly from the receiver member for securing the flashing member to the vertical portion of the L-foot. When installed, the flashing member will prevent water from leaking into the roof through any penetrations into the roof caused by installation of the L-foot.
