Ridge panels are disposed at the ridge of the roof frame so as to cover a portion of the roof panels on each side of the shed. Facia boards are disposed on an entrance end and a rear end of the roof frame. Doors are disposed on an entrance side of the shed.

    Abstract: An uncured, thermoset resin sheet is reinforced with oriented fibers and is slit to define a desired length for the fibers. A series of the sheets are cut and stacked to form integrated layers of the composite material for a structural panel. The panel has two outer layers that sandwich two shorter layers on each end, and syntactic or foamed resin layer in between. Each of the composite layers is formed from the same materials and by the same process, but may vary in the directional orientation of their fibers. The uncured panel is assembled into a flexible, substantially flat configuration is heated and formed to the contours of a tool having a undulated surface geometry. The panel is further heated to cure the combined composite and syntactic resins into a series of undulations that permeate each of its layers. In one embodiment, the undulations are in a smooth, sine wave-like pattern that allow the panel to maintain a planar configuration.

    Abstract: A wall system is disclosed involving wall panels of corrugated sheets as a stay-in-place forming system for concrete for building a shelter for protection from severe weather conditions, e.g., tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. The corrugated sheets are joined together, both in adjacent and opposing positions, forming a crevasse between the corrugated sheets into which concrete is poured. Each corrugated sheet has a horizontal reinforcement member rigidly attached to the internal side of the corrugated sheet wherein a horizontal reinforcement member is an L-shaped angle steel having a plurality of connecting holes on its horizontal element. A plurality of uniting rods are used to connect two opposing wall panels by inserting each end of the uniting rod into the connecting holes of opposing horizontal reinforcement members. A connecting bar assembly is used to more securely connect two adjacent wall panels.

    Abstract: A modular construction system utilizes building components or panels formed of high strength plasticized concrete. Panels are formed with two or more linear peripheral edges fitted with mortises. FRP pultruded tenons are used to connect aligned mortises for adjacent panels. Walls, crown beams and roof panels can be so formed and assembled. Hollow corrugated panels are suitable for forming beams and interior partitions. Beams can be rested on regularly spaced piles and then floor panels on the beams, walls on the floor panels, crown beams on the walls and roof panels on the crown beams, buildings can be erected with a minimum of tools or specialized knowledge. The resulting structure is substantially impervious to environmental hazards, particularly relevant in more primitive locations.

A reactive foam completely fills the inter-panel space, to form a consistent body of insulation. The force of the reactive foam filling the inter-panel space closes a hinged first flap for covering the foam-injection inlet and a plurality of hinged second flaps for covering the vents.
