Abstract: The invention provides a composite material structure comprising a plate having an upper side, an under side and at least first and second beams, each beam having a plurality of faces comprising at least an upper face and a base face and a pair of spaced apart side faces intermediate to and adjoining the upper and base faces, each beam being attached to the underside of the plate at the upper face wherein the first beam has an open ended passage extending between the side faces and the second beam extends through the open ended passage.
Abstract: For producing wall panels (8) from bricks (1), a line-up path (4) on which bricks to be masoned are deposited in a row with a gripper, a transfer device (10) for transporting the brick row from the line-up path (4) to a bricklaying station (7) for masoning the wall panel, and a device for moving apart the bricks to form vertical joints (9) between the bricks (1) of the wall panel (8) are provided. The gripper depositing the bricks (1) on the line-up path (4) is formed by a depiling gripper (3) that depiles the bricks (1) of a pile (2) in rows with its two longitudinal grippers (13, 14). The device for moving apart the bricks (1) is formed by transverse grippers (21, 21a) disposed on the depiling gripper (3) between the longitudinal grippers (13, 14), said transverse grippers (21, 21a) individually holding the bricks (1) of the brick row depiled with the longitudinal grippers (13, 14) and being formed to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the depiling gripper (3).
Abstract: An isogrid structure formed from multiple face sheets (14) and multiple stringers (16). Each face sheet (14) and each stringer (16) being an individual component. Each stringer (16) having two or more joints for attachment to the face sheets (14). The face sheets (14) formed from flat sheet material and include a pattern of openings for attachment of the joints on the stringers (16). The geometry of the openings matching the geometry of the joints on the stringers (16). The assembled unit is formed by inserting each joint on a stringer (16) through its corresponding opening in a face sheet (14) and then bonding the joint to the face sheet (14).
