  • Patent number: 11492435
Abstract: A method for preparing a biomass-based conductive hydrogel by 3D printing is provided. Firstly, a cellulose-based macromonomer, a rosin-based monomer, an acrylic acid monomer and an initiator are mixed in a certain proportion, stirred, and dissolved at 25-70° C. Then, diisocyanate in an amount of 5-10 wt % of a total mass of the monomers is added to the mixed solution and mixed uniformly to prepare a 3D printing photosensitive resin solution. An SLA light-curing 3D printer is used to print a hydrogel precursor 1 with a complex shape. Next, the hydrogel precursor 1 is heated to obtain a hydrogel precursor 2 with a dual-curing network. Finally, the obtained hydrogel precursor 2 is swelled in a 1-15 wt % alkaline solution at 5-60° C. for 0.1-10 hours to obtain the biomass-based conductive hydrogel.

Abstract: Oxidation resistant crosslinked ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is described, wherein at least two different additives in the manufacture synergistically increase the oxidation resistance of crosslinked UHMWPE. This allows the manufacture of oxidation resistant crosslinked UHMWPE using lower levels of additives and/or lower levels of crosslinking irradiation or chemicals. The lower levels of additives and/or crosslinking produce crosslinked UHMWPE having desired physical properties not possible without the synergistic interaction of the additives. This crosslinked UHMWPE may be used in medical prostheses such as in bearing components having desired physical properties such as wear resistance and oxidation resistance not possible without the synergistic interaction of the additives.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a photo-curable organic-inorganic hybrid composition, more particularly to a photo-curable organic-inorganic hybrid resin composition having superior physical properties such as UV resistance, chemical resistance, light transmittance, adhesive property, insulating property, heat resistance, flatness and water resistance and in particular, having excellent heat resistance and adhesive property enabling the composition to endure a thermal deformation caused by a processing temperature change during post-process after a film is cured. Thus, the composition of the invention is suitable for use as an insulating material and an encapsulating material for a protective film of optical devices including display devices and semiconductors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a fixing member that can apply a sufficient pressure to toner particles even at convex portions of a paper surface while maintaining an advantage of a surface layer composed of a soft rubber layer, i.e., high conformity to concave portions of a paper surface and that prevents adhesion of contamination to the surface and hardly changes the fixing ability thereof. The fixing member has a surface layer that comes into contact with toner. The surface layer has a sea-island structure including a sea phase of fluororubber and an island phase of a silicone compound having a crosslinked structure; is constituted so that a tangential elastic modulus, being the slope of a stress-strain curve of the surface layer, increases with an increase in strain in a strain range of 0.25 to 0.8; and contains an ionic liquid.
